My husband and I visited the CMW to look for carpet for our daughter’s bedroom. My daughter’s room currently has tile and we plan to remove the tile and replace it with carpet. We heard about CMW while doing a Google search for carpet retailers and since we wanted a good deal on carpet we decided to check them out. We were not interested in buying carpet from the box box retailers like Home Depot and Lowes as we heard lots of carpet horror stories.
First, the warehouse is huge and has tons and tons of carpet with just about every grade and style you would want for a home, office or business.
We looked at several styles and price ranges of carpets and there were several that we liked and also checked out the pads for the carpets too. I believe we spoke with Gus and he was nice and showed us several options for our daughter’s bedroom.
He told us there was NO WARRANTY on the carpets they are sold «AS IS». You can inspect the carpet ONLY AFTER PURCHASE. We were told by friend’s that manufacturer’s carpet warranties are so convoluted and worded in a LEGALIZE that you really don’t have a warranty.
We asked about carpet installers but that information appeared to be only available to the buyer after the purchase NOT before. We did NOT LIKE THIS as we like to check installer references, state license status, worker’s comp insurance, as the installer’s expertise is just as important as the quality of the carpet and pad.
CMW does sell lower cost carpet compared to retailers like Home Depot and Lowes but make sure you Google the carpet name you like before purchase to see if the manufacturer had problems with that particular production run of carpet. You might be buying a nightmare carpet that had lots of quality control issues that the carpet mill stopped producing it and sold its stock to warehouse dealers.
We did not buy carpet from CMW as we wanted to have a carpet installer that we trust to come with us to help us select the right carpet and pad for our daughter’s room. We will also compare local carpet retailers recommended by the website listed below.
If you are looking for carpet for just a room CMW might be the place to get a good deal on a carpet that fits your needs. If you own a business and need cheap business office carpet this is your place. If you own apartments and frequently change carpet every few years this is your place. If you are a homeowner looking for a low cost deal on carpeting this could be your place as long as you know CMW offers no warranties and all carpets are sold «AS IS». If you plan to have your entire house installed with carpet I would strongly suggest you do your homework because «AS IS» carpet with no warranty, wrong pad and a bad install will likely cost you more. So talk to carpet installer you trust and have him go with you when you buy carpet especially from CMW to help you pick the right carpet and the pad that would match the carpet.

I have purchased carpet from here a few times in the past. I build sets and they have a great selection of colors that work great for my needs. It can get busy on weekends but they usually get you
in and out fast. Ask for Gus, great guy very patient and will help you find the exact carpet that fits your needs. This time it was the classic eighties high low carpet. Price was good and I left in about thirty minutes.

Just finished our carpeting project and couldn’t be more pleased. If you’re looking to save a lot of money and require quality, this is a great way to go. We saved about 50% from what a retail carpet business would charge.
The reviews about Gus are spot on. The folks there don’t work on commission, so there’s no pushiness. Gus’ knowledge, honesty and amazing customer service helped us navigate the warehouse and find a great carpet. (Thank you Gus. They’re lucky to have you there.) Also, their selection is enormous. It’s worth the drive. We used the coupon from their website and got the free Costco gift card which you can use for gas.
Last, but certainly not least, was the installer we hired. Thank you David, if you’re reading this. I saw David Bujanda’s name in two great reviews. (He and other quality installers are recommended by Carpet Manufacturers Warehouse. You contract with the installers directly, so there’s no mark up.) Since David’s number was listed in one of the reviews, I called him before even visiting the warehouse. He came out and measured, told us exactly what we needed to buy from the warehouse, and gave us a very competitive estimate. (He went later that evening to pick it all up. The next day David showed up with everything for the job. He and his crew moved our furniture, disposed of the old carpet, and did an excellent job.)
Best of all, the process was quite seamless… what was so great was that after we locked in the job with David (installer), he connected with Gus (Carpet Manufacturers Warehouse), and when we got there to pick out the carpet, Gus already knew all the background. lol… that’s serious VIP from a warehouse operation.
Anyhow, we saved about $ 3k by doing it this way. Thanks fellow Unilocalers for the great recommendation!

I was lucky Howard answered the phone when I called to gather information for a future carpet purchase. Despite having no intention of buying at this time, Howard took the time to answer all of my questions and seemed happy to do so. If this is the type of friendly service I can expect when I’m ready to buy then I don’t think I’ll be looking any further than Carpet Manufacturer’s Warehouse.

HUGE selection of carpets. After searching Lowes, Home Depot and other carpet shops, we had zero luck in finding much variety. We also had to find something within a week (we had no time to order and wait for shipment). So… I Unilocaled and came across this warehouse. Immediately we went out on the hunt. We found our dream style for our staircase! Great wholesale prices, available immediately, no wait time needed here!

So pleased with the service and pricing on the carpet we just purchased! Gus was so pleasant and helpful, my husband and I didn’t even argue about it! Lol

We were shopping around to get our office new carpet because we are converting it to a makeshift nursery so I could bring my daughter to work. After doing some research, we ended up here. Their warehouse is filed to the brim with options and each carpet roll is tagged so you can see the prices right away. No tricks up their sleeve. We were immediately greeted by Howard and he helped us with our carpet selection after we told him what our budget was. He was very knowledgeable and patient when it came to explaining different carpet materials and how installation methods can affect the number of seams in a room. When we explained what color and softness we were looking for, he knew exactly which carpets to show us to get the best price. After we selected our carpet, he took us over to the padding samples so we could step on them and choose the right one for our needs. The last step was setting us up with an installer who was able to accommodate our needs for next day installation. And then we got to see the carpet unrolled and run through a machine to check for defects. Everything went smoothly and we are very satisfied with our purchase as well as how open and honest Howard was during this experience. It wasn’t the cheapest carpet, but we were looking for a specific quality, and also impeccable service, which is what we got. If you’re looking for reasonable prices and great assistance, this is the carpet place for you. And we also checked in for a free mat. Yep, we will be back.

Worth the drive. Howard is knowledgeable, patient and helped line up an installer who showed up the next day and did a terrific job. The warehouse is overwhelming and the selection is almost infinite. Kind of an unusual neighborhood with all the massive warehouses but also kinda cool. Only downside was the drive back to L.A. on the 5 Freeway… but worth it!

Highly recommend this company for any carpet needs. Great prices, good quality, and most of all great and friendly welcoming service! Gus made our experience a great one and would gladly go back if need be!

I came here to get carpet for two bedrooms for a place I’m renting out. Gus was really helpful in recommending the type of carpet and padding, and in what price range I should stay. Their selection is huge, with numerous choices in each range. You watch them cut the carpet and sign your name on the inside.
Once I picked out the carpet, Gus asked when I’d like it installed (they work with a number of freelance carpet installers). He hooked me up with Roy Perez and we agreed on a date/​time. Roy was prompt, and very efficient. The work that he did was fantastic! There were no visible seams at all. I strongly recommend both the warehouse and Roy.

He and his partner did an exceptional job installing our carpet, ensuring our furniture was handled with care, and providing a seamless, expedient finish. There is a particular way to cut and he is extremely diligent about laying in the carpet air tight and fitting it without unnecessary seams. Very professional. David can be reached at 562−781−6292. I never take the time to write reviews unless my experience was really good or really bad but I had to take time out to let people know what an awesome experience we had with dealing with CMW i came across them online & thought it looked good enough to go try & check out because we had been quoted so high by 5 other carpet places in our area so we decided to drive out to their warehouse to check it out & let me say I’m so happy I did! we found exactly what we wanted & with such a reasonable price we got a gorgeous nylon carpet & their best grade padding for way less then any other location we came across & it was still way less then other carpet places that were offering us their cheapest grade carpet & padding! We were able to find exactly what we needed thanks to our sales associate GUS he was really informative, knowledgable & super super patient he answered any questions we had & he really helped us come up with a decision that was going to work for our home especially as indecisive as I can be a big thank u Gus! They don’t do installation but they have a list of carpet installers & are willing to call before someone for you before you even leave the warehouse so u don’t have to worry about having to call around & find a installer which was a huge relief! one of the installers on their list was actually there to pick up a another order so Gus introduced us to him directly & so we were able to meet him which was a added bonus to the experience because we got to set up a time & date directly with him & ask him any questions & concerns we had as well. The installer we went with was DAVID BUJANDA If u remember anything about this review seriously remember his name I could literally write a separate review just for him that’s how awesome of a job he did! I’m a property manager & found Carpet Maunfacture’s Wharehouse online. I drove 45 minutes and saved so much time & money with them, I won’t bother going to any other carpet store again! ByeBye Home Depot & Lowes… your quality & price can’t compare to the Carpet Maunfacture’s.
I actually had my own home carped through them and love the results. The prices are good, the quality range offers something for everyone, but I have been purchasing a higher quality carpet for my rental property since I found this business.
It makes the tenants happy and cleans better & looks good longer.
I had a property carpeted in Temecula, 90miles south/​East. The installers drove out & completed the job quickly… even the staircase looks fantastic…
Joe suggested that I purchase a great looking heavy duty carpet remnant and take it to have the edges bound for one of my beach properties. It solved the «sandy feet» issue… each cottage now has a custom door mat that’s nearly indestructible where they can wipe their sandy feet off. and vacuumed the mats later…

And patient. Try to visit them mid-week…you’ll be glad you when you have extra help to make your choice. there is a huge selection!

1. this part will be for CMW themselves… AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME! jesus helped us find a very premium carpet for a killer price. i mean purchasing carpet from them was MUCH cheaper than anywhere else. we were able to basically finish off someone else’s roll of carpet since we didn’t need too much. my price for 1200sq of berber carpet w/​their standard padding was a bit of $ 1400. thats insane~ they even let my kids watch them roll and cut up our carpet. now, my only regret was that i should’ve went w/​upgraded padding. i was told their standard padding was better than industry standard… but it was thin.
2. now CMW does not offer installation. what they do however is provide you w/​a list of recommended installers that you have to call and arrange yourself. CMW said that this list of installers they can vouch everyone on that list has over 20yrs experience, so i was confident i could find a good installer here. i called RON WHITE from this list… and this dude RUINED my house. he butchered together certain parts of my stairs, seams were ruined, and the lines were not straight. it was unbelievable. he took 2 days to do stairs and 2^nd floor only. vacuumed all the new carpet the next day and it just completely came up!!! you can feel nails from the carpet tacks… awful. don’t call this donkey… he’ll ruin your house!!! say NO to RON WHITE 3 104 152 504
