Rented a car from these guys back in January. I returned the car in immaculate condition and had it inspected by their guy. There was no damage whatsoever and he signed off on it. Approximately two months later they charged me $ 1400 without my knowledge using the credit card I had on file claiming they found some scratched paint. They have refused to provide any documentation regarding it and have also completely ignored any further communication from both myself and my insurance company. Quite simply a clear cut case of credit card fraud. Avoid these scumbags at all costs!

I had the pleasure of working with Logan Hofkamp for my after-​party senior venue and all I had to say was he was an absolute blessing. We needed a yacht, preferably one that could accommodate twenty or more passengers and to my surprise, Mr. Hofkamp went the extra mile, no… my bad, extra HUNDRED miles to ensure we were taken care of. He responded almost the very next day on my inquiry and each follow up e-​mail was instantaneous. He provided numerous pictures and let us explore our options with the budget that we had. In essence he was almost like a personal concierge, placing the customer well being and time at the utmost priority. This guy makes you enjoy booking lavish trips and doing business with him, I seriously believe he redefines and sets a standard for the industry on what customers should expect from an agency like this. If anything be sure to go to Mr. Hofkamp because from now on I know for sure he will be my go to guy for anything of this nature!

It was my dad’s birthday and I wanted it to be special. I decided to gather up my savings and rent his dream car for a day. The process of renting the Porsche was not the smoothest, but the job was done. I reserved the vehicle online and through the phone. I was brand new to renting a luxury vehicle and was not told what I needed to, so I ended up calling my sales agent two or three times to find out what I needed to do next. Was the vehicle booked? Did I just go find the office in LA? Did the office receive my paperwork? I kept being told I would be called back but ended up having to initiate the calls to find out. I was worried things wouldn’t go through in time. Perhaps they were busy, but it would have made the transaction smoother if I was assisted or kept in the loop about what was going on. However, I am appreciative that whenever I did call they were helpful and informative when I asked any questions, and I was told I was given a nice discount.
As for the LA Carefree Lifestyle office, they were wonderful. Everyone was polite, helpful and enthusiastic about the rental. When discussing the return time, they were flexible and even offered to meet us at a location where there was less traffic (a musical festival was going on during that time).

Only used Carefree’s services one time through a old coworker who had tried them.
I was actually pretty impressed from beginning to finish… it takes a lot for me to go out of my way to give any review or do a survey.
Given the fact that i am picky and didn’t know exactly what i wanted either, nor was I present at the location… a lady by the name of ASHLEY made it very comfortable and easy. She really listened to my needs and actually delivered something perfect to my taste and budget too. The company has great selection. I was treated Like a VIP even though it was my first time using them. I give them kudos! Will need again next time I visit Cali

I rented the Blue Ferrari California a couple of months ago. The Ferrari was part of a big surprise that I had planned-​out to propose to my girlfriend. Carefree Lifestyle went above and beyond to accommodate my elaborate needs. They were instrumental in playing out my deceptive hoax, against my unsuspecting girlfriend. Not only did they deliver the vehicle to her place of work (on time as promised) they were happy and excited to be a part of this occasion & to help me in any way that they could.
Their sales guys in both Florida & CA were helpful on the phone in the days prior. They ensured that all of the paperwork was complete and that all of my questions were answered. They steered me towards the right car that had the perfect wow factor, comfort (fiancé had to drive it to vegas and back), and price that fit my budget.
Delivered on friday morning & we had the vehicle until sunday afternoon. We were supposed to return the vehicle saturday afternoon but the ride home took longer than expected. Once more, carefree went above and beyond as their showroom was closed on sunday. However, one of their guys came into work on his day off to take the beautiful Ferrari back.
The Bill: Guess what, even though I had the vehicle for an entire 24 hours longer than I wanted/​needed it for. Because I called them as we left vegas saturday morning & gave them an ETA as we drove home, when we all realized that there was no way that we were going to be able to get the Car back to Hollywood before they closed, they let me keep it until sunday and didn’t charge me for a full day, they only penalized me a couple hundred… kinda split the difference situation. Though, I was completely prepared to have to pay an additional day and mileage, they were really understanding and fare.
Finally, about 2 weeks later I received a hand written note from the owner thanking me for the business and wishing us a happy engagement. (SHE SAID YES) Things like that go a long way.
There are even more details they helped me with but I’m not writing a novel here so I’ll leave it at that. I’d recommend using them in the future. They have a sick inventory of luxury vehicles, including the 458 italia — - bachelor party maybe? :-)
