We are an Artist Services Company.

We specialize in the Fabrication of Artist Panels, Strainers, Pedestals and wood frames. As well as studio furniture, storage and other wood furnishings.

We only work on a projects to project basis, fabricating to our clients exact needs.

History

Established in 2013.

This business started as a side gig while I was in Art school at Otis College. It began out of simple necessity: I wanted to make a painting — but I couldn’t afford to buy a Stretcher Bar the size that I needed. So, I ended up going to the school woodshop to learn how to make my own. The Stretchers that I ended up making received a lot of attention from my fellow peers and soon after that people started asking me to make theirs too. Since then my interest in painting shifted to woodworking as I began teaching woodworking for an Artist Non-​Profit, Side Street Projects. There I built up my skills assisting other artists and building out their mobile classrooms. Now I have my own woodshop in Inglewood and I spend my time working at Canvas Commando & Teaching.
