This place is not even a hole in the wall, it’s a windowless space in a basement, accessible only through an underground parking lot. Décor is limited to Christmas lights taped to mirrored walls. However don’t let that scare you off — the space and service are friendly and pleasant, and the food is really comforting authentic home style Korean food made with care. The grilled mackerel was especially impressive. Everything we ordered really tasted like it was made by my wife’s Korean family. Note that kimchi is not served by default but they will bring some of you ask. We will be back!

True hole in the wall place worth trying! Slightly sweet flavored yulmu kimchi meets tangy bori(barley) rice… Yum… & No MSG Highly recommend for vegetarians & non-vegetarians. If you don’t bring around cash, they have minimum $ 10 for credit card. But there are tons of ATM from banks nearby so no worries ;) Definitely will be back when my stomach calls for it.

Hidden gem! Tucked in the basement of the building. Convenient, inexpensive, service with a smile and the food feels and tastes home cooked. It’s my regular lunch stop since I started working in K-town. I can’t say any of the dishes I tried blew me away, but then again, this isn’t that kinda place. If you’re in the area and looking for a home-cooked, hot meal, you might feel you’re home for lunch.

Wonderful, hidden lunch spot! It’s tucked away in a hallway next to the parking structure entrance. They have really good Korean food here. A few unique Vegetarian options too, like their specialty; barley rice that you mix with an assortment of seasoned and fresh veggies. I, of course; eat meat… So I’ve enjoyed their dumpling and rice cake soup on chilly days and spicy squid stir-fry on others. Pretty extensive menu, mostly ranges from $ 6−10… Friendly service… Clean… Just a bit hard to find! But definitely one of the best lunch spots by my office!
