Are you experiencing anxiety, panic attacks or depressive feelings? There could be a trauma or perceived trauma in your past. I offer Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) as a tool to reduce those negative symptoms.

I also counsel and advocate for special-​needs children, particularly on the autism scale. I can help increase communication, as well as decrease the negative behaviors that stem from your child’s frustration and anxiety. I work with parents to find the right educational, medical and social resources for your child.

In addition, I help adults who struggle with enabling and rescuing behaviors that often stem from loving an addict (codependency). I help you discover your therapy goals, then with compassion and honesty, assist you in meeting those goals.

I also provide online therapy for clients in Florida and in California. Christian counseling available upon request.

History

Established in 2009.

I have been serving children and adolescents for over 10 years. I have advocated for K-​12 students and parents (ESL, school counseling, exceptional education) and facilitated in-​school and at-​home therapies for underserved children.

In 2009, I went into private practice and added adult clients. Because of my own journey with the 12-​step program for codependency, I have been able to give others tools for boundary-​setting and self-​care.

I decided to go into the counseling field after my own recovery from codependency issues. After learning how to set healthy boundaries with loved ones, I was inspired to share these tools with others. After an internship with special-​needs children and adolescents, I realized that I also had passion to relate to them and help parents advocate for their educational interventions.
