Bloomingdales Make-up Counter

I’ve been getting pretty serious about skincare and have trusted all of my efforts to the Bloomingdales folks. In particular, I’m in love with the Malin & Goetz line of skincare (New York). When you are at Bloomingdales Beverly Center, ask for Matthew A., who is the regional manager for Malin & Goetz. AMAZING stuff!
Replentishing Facial Serum: My favorite product! Grade: A+
Replentishing Facial Cream: My other favorite product! Grade: A+
Jojoba facial scrub: Do your face a nice cleanse! Grade: A
Foaming cleanser: Amazing foam lifts dirt and skin. Grade: A!
Acid Pads/​wipes: Cleans your face like no other. Grade: A!
Vitamin B Hand Lotion: Superb! Grade: A–
Shaving Cream: Don’t use the cheap products that dry! Grade: A+
Peppermint Shampoo: Tingly and light. Grade: A–
Replentishing Hair Mask: Smells like almonds! Grade: A–
B5 Body Lotion: Thick and absorbs easily. Grade: B+
Daily Facial Moisturizer: On the thin side, light. Grade: B
Daily Facial Moisturizer with 15 SPF: Strong stuff that protects you: Grade: B+
Scented Hand Soaps (serves as bath gels): Light, cleans well, fragrance. Grade: B+
The Malin & Goetz line of products is amazing! Beats out any of the other facial products at Bloomingdales makeup counter.

I used to get threading, but have now converted to waxing thanks to Benefit Brow Bar in Bloomingdales. Delania does an amazing job!!! I always get compliments on my brows. They do great eye lash extensions too! Benefit by far gives the best customer service at this Bloomingdales location. They always touch up my makeup afterwards too! All nice down to earth friendly peeps :) You will be hooked like me!

Molly @ the Armani counter. She is amazing!!!
She is so inviting and not at all intimidating… and I kid you not, when I left her counter, I felt like a whole new person!!! She is terrific and has a great eye for what will look amazing… we had so much fun and tried out different looks.
Plus the Armani makeup might be a little on the expensive sides but that fabric foundation has gotten me loads of compliments… thumbs up!

This is the BEST place to get your brows done in Los Angeles! I have been to several places in the LA area for my brows and was never satisfied until I found Barbara at the Benefit Brow Bar. She keeps my brows beautifully arched without making them too thin. And, when I couldn’t use wax for a period of time, she was still the master, tweezing them to perfection! People ask me constantly «who does your brows» — they really do look that good!

When exiting the upper level of Bloomies, you may come under the attack of one of the most charming counter-​men you could possibly encounter…
His name is Willie F. and he is the counter manager at this Bloomingdale’s location, and he will not let you out the door looking sad nor ugly.
I was sick and tired and not wanting to be in the Beverly Center (because apart from ‘for the love KM and H&M’, why would anyone want to be there?) and I was smoothly thrown up on the chair and made into a glowing healthy looking goddess type. I escaped with only purchasing some Bad Girl mascara from Benefit, but honestly if I wasn’t such a miserly sort, I could easily have spent hundreds at the hands of this lovely makeup guy.

If you have money or a very strong resolve, be sure to drop by the Make-​up Counter at Bloomies and let WIllie make you pretty. You’ll feel like a million bucks.
