So I used to shop at nordstrom but the sales employees(most of the time) are not knowledgable(best example: Went to Sisley. Asked them what makes this product special. employee: eh… the ingredients. *silent*) So I came here! I used to buy my jo malone perfumes before but haven’t purchased any skin care products until I realised they sell SK-II and La Mer here! They’ve got crazy deals, such as spend $ 350 and receive a full size lifting emulsion which is $ 130. Also they have cash back rewards system, spend 300, and get 10 dollar off.(Still better than spending $ 1000 at sephora and get sample size lipstick or blush…) In addition to that all the members get 15% off on your birthday month, so I got 2016 La Mer Moisturising soft cream set($ 340) at 15% off price. Sales employee told me I could also spend $ 450 and get 20% off, but I didn’t really need anything or was willing to buy something for my vanity so I ended up just getting a set. I mean, could you imagine getting discount at regular department stores??? nope. Never experienced in my life. Also she apologised for not having la mer or sk II samples, so she gave me bunch of sisley skin care samples that I could try. Couldn’t be happier with my purchase, will definitely come back to get my summer perfume & more skin care products!

I used to go this cosmetic shop for skin care products. I’m not picky at all and I’m open to any suggestion when I’m in the cosmetic shop because I don’t have that much of knowledge. They have sales point system so they can track what I have bought and every dollar you spend you earn one point. This is pretty good system and the sales ladies were really nice; always gave me one or two samples for me to try even though I don’t use them all. So I would definitely give 5 stars until couple weeks ago, I visited this shop to try and buy products for my t zone area. I actually had $ 30 to use toward my purchase. There was this lady who seemed like she’s a manager came to me and asked if I needed help. I asked particular mask cream from Kiehls. I told her my skin is super duper sensitive that almost everything I tried wasn’t good for my skin. But I finally found Kiehls«oil free» line is ok with me. So I asked her if that particular product was oil free and asked her if I can try just little before I buy this. She said no they don’t have any sample. I understand they don’t have sample for that product so I was kind of deciding whether I should try or not. She told me I can return this if it gives me any skin trouble. But damn the mask cream was pretty big and I didn’t want to give them back after trying just once IF I get skin trouble from this. So I asked her if she could suggest any other mask cream in the shop and she right away said«NO» I was WTH? I told her it doesn’t have to be kiehls; any mask cream that’s oil free and alcohol free would be great. You know what she said? She said Kiehls is the cheapest one she can suggest. Anything else is very expensive like $ 100-$ 200. Wow she was very rude and disrespectful. Did I ask her I was looking for the Cheap one? Or did I ask her sample for no reason? I believe I’m pretty easy customer because I don’t ask or expect anything extra rather than my purchase. But this lady was super rude. Customer service was WORST I’ve ever had. I’m NOT going here anymore. If you want to buy any cosmetics, go somewhere else because this place is not the only place where you can find products they have!

Blooming is like a department stores make up department. They only carry a few brands of skin care and cosmetics. But I would say they have a decent selection of very reputable brands. The customer service is top notch. I’m not Korean but I was really please that they all spoke English and were very helpful and friendly. I bought some makeup and skin cAre and got my makeup done for free. But this was no ordinary makeup. Gia was the sales rep that helped me. She did my makeup and made me love everything she used on my face. So I ended up buying more! And walking out looking like a million bucks. Thanks Gia!

So I finally ventured further into the store and discovered they carried CREED fragrances. Also I want to note that they carry some items pretty fast. I went in asking about a new Kiehl’s product and they already had it. SCORE. I’m pretty happy I don’t have to brave other stores West of here for some of my favorite items.

i received a gift certificate from blooming cosmetics and went to redeem the certificate. i made my skincare selection and at checkout, i was charged tax on the certificate amount! i have never experienced this before with any vendor or store! i’m korean, and the saleslady was not even kind enough to explain to me this difference. and the strange part was that she debated to call my friend who gave me the certificate to inform her that i was redeeming my certificate. then, she decided not to call. it was just a strange encounter from the beginning. next time, i prefer not to shop at this store and do not recommend anyone to purchase a gift certificate from blooming cosmetics! and honestli, even if you are korean, the treatment is not any better than if you were non-korean. these salesladies are like vultures and grab you as soon as you walk in the door to see if they can get commission off your purchase.

Nice selection of fragrances but you might not want to go here unless you speak fluent Korean and have a big pocket book(boutique perfume is expensive!!). It gets a star for being one of the only places in town that carries Jo Malone. However, given that the sales persons were pretty uncomfortable with non-Koreans I had the weirdest sensation of being the silly foreigner who only speaks English.
