As a trained midwife assistant, certified childbirth educator and certified doula for over 15 years, I work with expecting families to prepare for birth and caring for their newborn. I provide childbirth preparation classes, birth consultations to review birth options, doula services — birth and postpartum as well as placenta encapsulation and yoga nidra meditation for reducing stress and enhancing rest during pregnancy and postpartum.

History

Established in 2010.

Previous to starting Birth Happens Naturally in 2010, I worked exclusively with a Birth Center. The Birth Center was where I received my training as a midwife assistant and Doula. I gained a tremendous amount of experience there, and transitioned into to providing additional services as an independent Birth professional in 2010.
