Big Daddy’s Deli

Well, at least they take EBT I guess… If you like nacho cheese burritos or burritos with mozzarella cheese then this place is awesome. Also if you like sketchy food this place is awesome.

This is the place I go to for a quick bite whenever Im at Venice Beach. It beats hamburgers, pizzas, hot dogs, and anything deep fried.

Its a Hot Sunday afternoon and my son wants to go shred one of the best skate parks in So Cal. So I drag him and a couple of his friend down to Venice. Of course its crowded, its Venice on the weekend. Well we find a place to park on a meter (dollar an hr.) and make our way though the beach talent to the skate park.
We are there for close to an hour and I have to head back to the meter when I spotted a pizza place. Got close and saw a place close by that served empanada’s. I Love Empanada’s and they make some pretty good ones. Especially the spinach and artichoke, but the clincher was that they also serve sweat potato fries. They got me for both. When my son saw what I had of course we had to stop by again on the way out to pick up some more fries. They have a whole bunch more on the menu but I ate too many empanadas, but will try some other items soon. I know I will be back to the skate park within the next couple of weeks.
CASH ONLY Good Eats has a healthy and delicious simple menu to the surrounding Venice boardwalk surrounded by pizza’s and burger. Good Eats Introduces healthy and delicious food. The phone number is no good so don’t bother.

Healthy and delicious wraps and soups, which is hard to find there on ocean front walk in Venice. It is right around the corner next to Big Daddy and & Sons Pizza.
I was so surprised that the prices did not rip me off and that my bottle of water was $ 1. They are reasonable.
They make everything fresh and they have their own «special vinaigrette.»

I got the veggie wrap. It was delicious. Had a LOT of lettuce in it but it was leafy green lettuce and good veggies so I was happy. The spinach tortilla had a really nice sweet, grainy taste.
