Great at what he does. I needed to get a key/​fob all in one cut and programmed with the transponder. It was later in the evening, I gave him a call and he showed up in 30minutes and finished in less than 20. Very professional, courteous and pleasant. I will definitely go again if I need any kind of key service!!!

Called to have some cylinders changed out. Showed up in 5 minutes and finished in 10 minutes

The owner is passion. He told me he can copy my car key at first (I already told him my car’s model.).
However, after trying to program, he failed and told me he already cut the key, so I still had to pay «$ 40» on a key that can’t work.
I think the price of cutting key is too much and he should know whether he can do this before he answered me on the phone.

First off, Jin is theeee dude. After I was an idiot and lost the key to my bike lock, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and have someone come out to free my bike. We talked the night before and selected 8am for the appointment time. Next morning rolls around and what do ya know? Jin arrives to my apartment at 7:59am. After not being able to find an outlet outside for his tools (I live in an old apartment), he had my bike free, paid and gone by 8:12am. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Jin is the man.

Jin is really good at what he does, in just 30 minutes, not only he opened my car in less than 3 minutes, he also made 3 sets of keys for me upon request on the spot (he does credit card too) what it took insurance more an hour he did in crunch time. EXTREMELY recommend him especially in a tight spot. Thank you jin!

Jin was great! I somehow locked myself out of my apartment and within 5min he was here and I was in my place. He was very skeptical of me and made me show him my ID to verify my address and when I found my keys he made me show him the key so he knew I wasn’t lying or some stranger trying to break into someone else’s apartment, which I so much appreciated. Great company, a little pricey, but the service is good.

After a late night of celebrating I locked my keys in the car. Early Sunday morning I called Beverly Lock and Safe and Jin was at my car within 20 minutes with professional and speedy service. He was extremely friendly also!
When the first course of action didn’t work, he didn’t hesitate to jump into the next solution and solved the problem of the locked keys in my car.
We even high fived, he gave a good deal and I highly suggest him.

I locked myself out after ordering Thai food thru Unilocal when I went to go and pay the delivery guy. I called Beverly locksmith for help, he arrived as stated time of 15 min. And in 5 minutes he was able to to unlock both doors and get me back in! Cost was 130 dollars…(price of being forgetful and desperate) thanks Beverly locksmith for the prompt service. Unfortunately I don’t believe that this will be the last time I’ll be using your service. Lol.

It’s worth getting a lock opened just to see this guy operate — he’s so fast it’s like a Saturday night live parody of a super hero — he was at my place in less than 5 mins — opened the door in 30 seconds, extracted the lock in 20 seconds, and took off like a rocket — he was back with 3 keys when I only paid him for 1 — again in less than 5 mins — the lock was in place and the keys in my hands in 10 seconds and like magic he disappeared — the Michael Jordan of locksmiths, if Korea did a remake of the avengers and had a locksmith — u could cast him and save on the sfx —

NOT open 24 hours. I went to get a key copied here but they were closed at 6pm on a Sunday.

The owner is very kind and smart. I’m very thankful of his service. This is the best price. It is the cheapest price. I copied the Nissan Altima 2010 key. I went to many locksmith shops and asked for the price ($ 250-​$ 350). But right here only!!! $ 200!!! This is the best price I can find.

I was taking out the trash at 2am and locked myself out of my apartment! Thanks to my fellow Unilocalers I was able to find and call/​text Beverly Locksmith to let me back inside. I was quoted $ 120 and 15min arrival, which ended up being $ 131.80 (tax w/​credit card) and 13min. Very prompt, professional and courteous service! Took less than 30sec to get me back inside, and after retrieving my keys and demonstrating that they worked in my locks, I let him plug his card reader into my wall outlet to swipe the plastic.
Hopefully I learned my lesson!

I didn’t know there are so many different kinds of keys. Apparently, the key I wanted to have copied isn’t very common so the worker had a difficult time finding the right key. After 10 minutes of searching, he found it! I got 2 key copied for $ 4. If I went to Home Depot, I don’t think they would’ve be able to make a copy.
I also wanted my car key battery changed but he couldn’t get the screw out and also stripped the screw. So, I have no chance for a new battery anymore. :(
Also, it was very difficult to communicate with him since he only spoke Korean…

So, being the handy man I suppose myself to be, I tried to install a locking door knob set into a closet door here at home. My home is too old for that kind of simplicity, the old door knob is some rare, undersized thing which cannot be replaced by today’s sized knobs. I call Beverly Locksmith and the dude shows up on a Sunday, takes my new doorknob and installs it in like 10 minutes. It’s a clean job and now my door locks. I don’t know what this was supposed to cost, I budgeted $ 100 and paid under that.
A slight blemish might be that he did not provide me with an estimate, even after a request or two. I might also add that it’s a little difficult to talk and reach him on the phone.

I was terrified when I got locked out of my apartment but the gentleman was here in less than 20 minutes, checked my ID etc., and I was back in my apartment in no time.

Jin is the man. Got me a new car key for half the price a dealer said would cost me!

I asked him to come to my place just to give an estimate to fix the latch of my glove compartment of my car, which was broken into by a burglar; and the burglar broke it. Jin, the locksmith, showed up after a few hours around 7:30pm with his van. I let him park inside of the garage. He got out of the van and checked the latch, and I thought he would give me an estimate.
Unexpectedly, without giving me any estimate, he proceeded to pull out wd-​40 lube and started spraying a lot inside and around the latch and jamming a metal tool to possibly smooth out the kinks inside. I already had a bad feeling about this, using wd 40 at all into the latch of the glove compartment of a luxury car; and jamming the rod forcibly all around.
Initially, the key to the latch didn’t go in fully, but after Jin tried with wd-​40 and jamming a metal rod for 5 min, the key went in and he could turn the lock and shut. But since it’s clearly still broken, when the key was not in locked position, the glove door just fell out. The latch part is also crooked looking as well. Even when the glove door was locked, the door was not aligned and the latch looked twisted.
I was like… What the F?
Jin is like «ok, now you can lock the glove compartment». I was like «are you fking serious?» In my mind.
Satisfied with his job, he walked to back to his van and proceeded to tell me with a smug face, «ok, so it is $ 95 dollars».
I told him for the quality of job he did $ 95 is way too expensive, but he insisted on the price. Remember that the latch is still broken and the door cannot be shut properly. I told him you didn’t give me any estimate to begin with, started working on my car without my approval, and throwing $ 95 for the 5 min bogus job?
I asked him I will use an insurance, so write me an estimate. He scribbled some numbers and $ 450 on a yellow small paper on which his writing are barely legible, and I thought this is not good. This guy is here to rip me off. Jin told me I pay him $ 95 now and once I got insurance money, I can pay him the difference. I told him I am around the contractor businesses and what he is doing is unreasonable.
After some back and forth, he said «so, how much can you pay?» I was speechless and he said «how about $ 60?» By then I was too tired to deal with his bs, so I called my roommate who is a contractor to come downstairs to explain and deal with him.
My roommate came down to where we were, and he checked the glove compartment, and not only the glove door doesn’t close but the key doesn’t go in at all because after Jin made it in initially after his all the jamming and dw-​40, the latch fell back into original broken position.
Anyways, my roommate told him that Jin didn’t give me any estimate, the latch is still broken, as broken as before, asking $ 95 is unethical. After some back and forth, Jin gave up and left.
It was an unreal experience. This guy just wanted to come in, and get quick bucks. I had to deal with a burglar and now this guy.
Holy cow. Please be aware. He wasn’t looking out for me or quality of his work. He seems he was only looking to make quick bucks when I was in need.

Not So Fast!!!
He put in this lock saying it’s as good as Shlage, and it ISN’T!
It’s already failing… Won’t turn.

Amazing. Just finished opening the deadbolt and also replacing it in under 10 minutes.
Was exact on arrival time and gave text updates on eta.
Highly recommended. Honest. Professional. And open ²⁴⁄₇ when all others around me was closed.
