The money shot is really the mixiote, but that’s apparently only available Monday through Friday, if at all. The lamb barbacoa is superbly tender, and available in taco form at only $ 1.25 per taco. The dimly lit room with no windows nor a/​c has zilch ambience, so it’s better just to take everything to go.
The commissary/​kitchen is the truck, and the truck alone. Don’t bother if you don’t like Mexicans or food trucks.

I come here a lot with my family on Sunday mornings to eat breakfast. A certain female waitress needs to get laid before coming to work because she makes me feel as if I’m bothering her when she takes my order.

Been coming here for years and today I realized they are not listed on Unilocal.I had to add this hidden gem! By far the best barbacoa you will find in LA. It’s a hole in the wall but it’s very clean and has excellent service.
