Bank of America

The worst bank I’ve ever been to. Nevermind how they do business, because that I’m sure is like every other bank. But every time I come here I am waiting in a line for at least 30 mins, while I watch the employees walking around us. There are two tellers at the Windows. What the eff.

Awful. Avoid Francis Monge at all costs. He closed an account for me and then it mysteriously reopened.

I go here 5 years and always see the same thing. At 5 pm just 2 tellers. Line 20 minutes per person. Horrible place.

Absolutely horrendous service, expect to wait a long time and be passed around. This branch has made me want to leave the bank

just got back from a transaction at this Bank of America. At 9 AM Monday morning the best they can do is have ONE regular teller (which is having problems helping a client) and ONE business teller (who is also having a long go of it.) a very smiley personal banker came too close to the ever growing (15+) customer line and was called out about the number of tellers. Her response was that there were two tellers. That is not helpful… finding more tellers and having them man windows… that is helpful… not just stating the obvious. Another stupid and annoying thing she did was ask if she could help me with my transaction at the ATM instead of going to a window. IF I WANTED TO GO TO THE ATM I WOULD HAVE GONE THERE! I am not an idiot nor blind and I can see the ATMS on the way in the door. Why would you even ask such a moronic thing unless you have such contempt for your clients and believe they are addlepates?
This is not the first time that I have had to wait in a line at this branch because of the inefficiency of the management, but I know it will be my last.
Bank of America really should consider closing this branch.

This is a very unprofesional environment some pppl working here do know how to aproch a custumer espesially Narine the old lady there is line all the time working only 2 very slow teller with attitude

Always long lines, no matter what time I come in.
Only one or two bank tellers.
Service is good, as long as you don’t mind waiting 10 – 15 minutes to get helped.

It’s a good bank until you have a problem.
They are so careless about what happens to your money, I kept calling to get some help about a situation I encountered and they just kept transferring me to someone «who knew» but really no one knew what to do, they just apologize like 50 times, sorry does not give me my money back. Such a waste of time.

So much for having business services. There’s never a teller for business banking and the tellers overall move at snail’s pace. Then there’s a bank manager always very nice to talk to but all they do is stand there when there’s a long line and still not a teller for business services. At least the app and ATMs exist to speed things up. Thank you technology!

I’m giving this place two stars because of my sympathy to the few good workers here. Otherwise, I would give this place no stars at all. Beware of the Merril Edge guy. I’m starting to get the impression that they just send everyone to him so he can create accounts. It seems like they’re worried about numbers with how many accounts they can open and get credit for. I opened a CD savings account with him, but due to not having $ 1,000 we had to put a hold on making any moves with it. However, he was totally fine with creating the account for me! He said that he would call the following week because that is when I can transfer the remaining money into the account. It’s now a month later and still no call/​follow up from him. Maybe all he needs to do is open accounts… At least that’s the impression I now have. I get that I can easily call the bank, but when a person, especially someone that is «advising» you on your money, doesn’t stick to their word it can make you uncomfortable with the decision you made on banking with them.
Prior to this account, I opened a 529 account months before I opened this one with the same person. I was never savvy with stocks, but he said that he always contacts clients to inform/​advise them on what moves to make.
He asked me for my cell phone number on both occasions, but never one phone call. Poor customer service! Over promise, under delivery! Miscommunication, or lack of!

Terrible Branch. Possibly the worst BofA I have ever been to. The staff is incredibly unwelcoming and snooty. There is a multitude of windows and every time I come here they only have ONE actual window open. Go to the BofA on Melrose and Western, they have much better service there.

I closed my account with this BofA because of this branch — terrible service. You wait in line for 20 minutes. When it’s finally your turn, the teller asks you if you have an account with them. I replied why? well we don’t do services to anybody if they don’t have an account. I wanted to exchange the 50 dollar bills that the ATM gives. What the heck. I have an account with another bank and they don’t give 50 dollar bills in their ATMs.
Another instance I’ve been waiting for 15 minutes when I get to see the teller. She is arguing with some lady because the she’s been missing days about some family emergency. I waiting for a minute hearing all this. OMG! The teller is angry and of course she did not do took my order correctly. I complained and she gives me attitude.
I closed my account. A month later I got a bill from BofA telling me that my account still open with 0.00 and that I have to pay them $ 15. I went back and told me that whoever closed my account did not do the paper correctly so my account was never closed. I own them that money if I wouldn’t pay they would take me to collections.
There’s Wells Fargo half a block from them. I go there.

Worst BofA in town. I live next door and I can’t get in and out of here in less then 20 minutes. Go to the one of hillhurst and franklin for quick ANYTHING. Save yourself

Twenty (20) teller windows one (1) open. Need I say more? No matter what you come here the amount of available employees is very minimal. You’d think during busier hours they’d add more.

What can I say that other haven’t said already… Always a line, some tellers are not very helpful and some are very nice. Its what you get when you go to a popular bank.
My gripe is with the customer service phone support… The only way you can get any info on your account, even if its just a question about bank fees, is if you have the correct answer to every question they ask you to verify its you.
1. Last for digits if your social,
2. Your account number
3. Mothers Maiden Name
4. Last 3 numbers on your ATM card in the back of your card
5. The last transaction you made with the bank, date and amount, check number and who the check was written to !!!

Some of us don’t have all this F%^$% info with us because we’re not in front of a computer or carry our check books with us all the time. You would think the first four questions would be sufficient, But Nnnnoooooo!
And, that’s not really my gripe, I get it, you have to make sure its me and not compromise my account… My real gripe is with the kind of staff you have in customer service…

This bank is ridiculous! No matter what time of day it is, you’re guaranteed to wait in line for 20 minutes. They understaff their tellers, which causes custimers to wait in line forever! This is horrible customer service! I’m so glad I’m banked with Wells Fargo; never have to experience this!
The only reason I’m giving this branch 2 stars is because I’m sympathetic to the tellers. B of A needs to get it together!!#

This branch is joke. One of the absolute WORST customer service experiences I have every encountered (which is saying a lot). They seem far more interested in making small talk with each other and their Armenian-​speaking customers than actually providing service. (And no, that’s NOT a dis against the Armenian community) They have given me incorrect information and made mistakes more than once, and I have watched them frustrate other customers in a similar manner. Unbelievably, they also flatly refused to work with my financial counselers at Merrill Lynch, which is a SUBSIDIARY of Bank of America.
The ONLY reason to go this branch is for the kitschy mural of Hollywood, circa mid-​1970s.

Hate the idea of coming here. Poor customer service, long lines always. Every time i have some business to do in the bank, i get frustrated.

I had to come here recently for some cash… and it’s a hell-​hole!
The parking situation is the worst in terms of location and layout, not to mention it’s really small. This BoA is located smack dab in the middle of main traffic routes, and it’s pretty much impossible to enter directly. I had to weasel my way around streets, making numerous turns, until I was able to enter the lot.
Oh, I can only withdraw in multiples of $ 50? WTF? This is probably the ONLY BoA that I’ve seen that does this, and it’s so annoying! I never anticipate withdrawing so much money, especially if it’s locked as one bill.
Well, thankfully I’ll never have to return again!
