My friend is the designer — Ashlyn Sao.. . not to name drop or anything, but she is genius. Her dresses fit every size and shape — if you don’t believe me, try on a dress. Her fabrics are exquisite, the prints are amazing (new ones promise to be beautiful!), and designs are gorgeous and figure-​flattering.
Anyhow, if you have eyes, you can tell from the photographs that her dresses are amazing.
I finally joined the Apsara crew last month.. . my goodness, why ever did I wait that long?! I LOVE my Apsara dresses.. . now I can’t wait for this blasted weather to warm up! :o)

Apsara Collection, created by the lovely Ashlyn Sao, is an inventive, beautifully detailed line that artfully drapes the female form.
The dresses are gorgeous, and come in a bunch of amazing patterns all in 100% silk. Dresses come in mini, knee length, and maxi styles perfect for the summer seasons. Its totally maxi time, and the dresses get about 10 compliments a day, I’m not even kidding you.
Not only do they look great, they feel great on the skin too. Totally soft and breathable like silk jersey should be… this is not your cheap, one season fabric, this is nice stuff — so it will be bit pricier than most over-​produced summer dresses from chain stores. I am a speed shopper. If I love something and it looks like it’ll fit me (especially when it’s discounted), I don’t need to try it on.
I took a mini break from passing out Unilocal totes at the Sassy City Chicks sample sale and was immediately drawn to the racks of Apsara silk halter dresses in the yummiest patterns. Check them out here:
After five minutes (it took me longer to push and crawl my way through the hundreds of frenzied shopaholics — I’m surprised I didn’t get claw marks or any hair pulled out), I picked out 4 sexy dresses — 2 mini and 2 maxi — and paid for them. The girls were stunned that I didn’t need to try them on. Like I said, I know when something is going to look fabulous.
The heat wave has been a dream for girls like me who love to wear sundresses! I wore a colorful mini dress yesterday, and got a billion compliments on it. One woman even stopped to look at the label at the back of the dress.
Thanks to Apsara for making me look and feel hot and sexy this summer!
