Andrea’s Learning Center

This is truly a magical place to be a child. It was hard for me to go back to work, to find a place and a person I trusted to look after my kid. After interviewing practically everyone in several zip codes, it was easy to pick ALC. Rochelle and her mom, who helps out too, are both incredibly warm, easy going, genuine, thoughtful people who demonstrate a deep respect for all kids. The way they talk to kids, you know instantly that they truly care and have those kids best interests in mind. The environment is very positive and very pro-​learning, and at the same time lets the kids lead the way in their own curiosity. My newborn baby will be coming here early next year along with my three year old son, and I’m so happy that they can be together in such a rich environment, where I know they are loved and safe when I am at work.

Andrea’s Learning Center is truly a family experience. Both my children attended Andrea’s and I am very pleased by the experiences they had. My family has become an extended part of Andrea’s. We visit Andrea’s at least once a month even though my oldest is now 15yrs old. My children and I have great memories of ALC. From the great summer camps to wonderful tea parties and not to mention the awesome learning environment. We love Andrea’ Learning Center!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful Andrea’s Learning Center is! I have 2 sons that have been in daycare centers in West LA and the South Bay and ALC is by FAR the best. Andrea is truly passionate about educating and nurturing children. You can hear it in her voice on the phone and see it in her demeanor in person. She is dedicated to each child in her care and determined to teach each child in the way that best suits their needs. She makes learning fun and has a knack for sneaking in learning moments when the children don’t even realize it. So, when your child comes home from ALC and says they didn’t learn anything that day – trust me… they have, they just didn’t know that Andrea snuck in an impromptu lesson. When you least expect it, your child will bust out with some fact or tidbit of information.
My 4 year old loves going to Andrea’s Learning Center and my 8 year old counts down the days during the school year when he gets to go to summer camp there too. I will not send my children anywhere else and I highly recommend ALC to anyone that will listen to me about it.

Both of my boys started as infants at Andrea’s Learning Center & Child Care. As a working mom, I needed a place where they would thrive socially, emotionally, and academically. They got that and so much more! They were nurtured by a warm and caring staff (I really can’t say enough about the individual attention each child receives and the enthusiasm of the teachers), enjoyed exciting learning activities (field trips to boot!), and developed skills to become caring members of a community.
If you are looking for a space filled with love and adults dedicated to partnering with you to care for your little ones in their early years, you really can’t find a better place. One visit to the center and you’ll know what I mean.
