The Legion is a killer 200-​person capacity live music venue with nice bartenders and cheap drink prices. A very nice and well kept secret in Highland Park. Open on most weekends to the general public for the live music shows, unless there is a private rental booked in the hall. All other days (closed tues. and wed.) the member bar (club room) is open from 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Come by with a good attitude to the private bar and a member is likely to allow you to stay. Come as you are for the weekend events, but leave the attitude and the Che Guevara t-​shirts at home. See more at
