AMC Century City 15

Do not waste your money here, use another theater. First, the theater was very messy and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in hours. Second, the seats were extremely uncomfortable, which is weird because AMC in Santa Monica has very comfortable chairs. And third, the customers who visit here are extremely entitled and rude.
My boyfriend and I were trying to enjoy our one date night in weeks and the movie is well underway and the lady behind me repeatedly keeps kicking my chair. I ask nicely the first time then it gets annoying the second and third time and I tell her to stop and she consistently keeps trying to annoy me. At this point I’m pissed, I go out and tell one of the staff members, behold I wasn’t trying to be difficult, I was just trying to enjoy my movie, The Revenant. The staff member told me there was nothing they could do – if I was a staff member, I would do my best in making sure that customer was taken care of by getting them complimentary concessions or a ticket, something to make the situation better, but nothing was done about it.
I will never come back to this theater again, not one thing in there was pleasant and if you want to have more customers kicking your seat in a cramped, dirty theater with not one but three people on their phones distracting you from the movie, this is the place for you.

Maybe just me. Maybe security should be in a business attire. You want people to unwind relax. Not see a uniform security by the ticket person at the top of the escalator. I think more help on a Friday & Saturday nights could be a plus. Love the 100 flavor coke machines BUT the Dasani flavored water of two different flavors were watered down. I’m assuming others might be too but they just got them. Concession service was slow but that’s because they only had 2 up front and 2 at the back. 4 is plenty for a Friday night: p. The employees I’ve seen in a month give me the impression like they have to work there and didn’t want to. You know what I mean. Quality of the theatre tech is still good. Good enough to see two movies here. I’ll check back here often since I know all this is minor stuff. I think the café would bring in more money if the stuff there wasn’t so expensive.

This theater is pretty nice, it’s like most nothing new or fancy here. They are currently under some construction so maybe they will add awe to a regular theater, or maybe another concession stand. I had a few problems if they have movie showings at 10pm they should concession open for at least an hour. Well this theater needs some improvements.

Nice theaters but not the nicest AMC I’ve seen. They have adapted assigned seating which is nice. No more struggling to come early for better seats. However, they HAVE NOT adapted the reclining chairs that the fallbrook AMC has. *homer simpson drool* Hmmm… I love those seats!
Parking is underneath /​mall parking. We saw a movie and forgot to validate and the parking fee turned out to be $ 3. They were also reconstructing the parking lot during my last visit JAN 21^st 2016. Dust everywhere! Closed exits everywhere! Dust and more dust everywhere!
Nice spot but I can’t imagine parking to be easy during normal hours.
Good location to browse around and shop before or after your movie.

AMC Century City is one of my favorite movie theaters, just because it has all of the major movies and is conveniently located as part of the posh, outdoor Century City mall.
Having said that, AMC Century City is not exactly worth going out of your way to catch a movie here. I personally prefer smaller movie theaters that feel more intimate and show independent/​artsy films. But for blockbusters flicks, AMC Century City will do the trick.

The AMC experience! I rarely go to an AMC theater and have a bad experience, my only complaint usually is the price. This theater takes the price to that next level of ridiculousness. Of course, I’m from out of town and used to buying movie tickets for 5 – 7 dollars. If each ticket were about 5 dollars cheaper, if give it another star.
For movies: If you’re seeing an action or sci-​fi movie, I think it’s worth it to try the Dolbi Cinema. They have quality images, the best sound experience i can remember at the movies, and those amazing lounge chairs. The downside is that they cost about a billion dollars per ticket (or actually $ 21 per ticket, RIDICULOUS). You also could see them in 3D for about $ 18, or «IMAX» for $ 21. Or you can get a regular ticket… like I usually do… I’m cheap.
But the theaters are clean, the seats are great. I love stadium seating so I can lean back, stretch out. You can get assigned seats (order online!) so you don’t have to wait around (like the regency village nearby) to get a good seat. They have the typical concessions for an AMC theater. It also is in the middle of an expensive mall, so expect to pay for parking, but they do validate (although the machine consistently breaks). Buy your tickets, go grab some ice cream or a drink beforehand and make a date out of it.
My go-​to is still the Bruin or Village theater ($ 8 movie! Thank you!), see my other reviews for those, but if I want a more diverse selection, I seem to make my way out to this one.

We usually go to our local AMC dine in. We decided, to see Star Wars, to give AMC Prime a go. Here’s my advice: don’t do it.
The seats don’t recline all the way.
It’s a new feature but it already smells like BO.
No food service.
The armrests don’t go back all the way to the recliner level so good luck with snuggling.
The whole cinema itself is a mess, managed by people who obviously Just. Don’t. Care. Popcorn everywhere, even in the common hallways between theaters, there before our movie, there still two hours later.
For $ 20 a ticket?
The validation system was broken when we were there and so the parking tried to charge us $ 5 when it’s supposed to be 3 hours free. Tons of other people have the same problem and now the Santa Monica exit is backed up. A guard comes and looks at our parking ticket and asks us for a dollar because we are 17 minutes over 3 hours.
We explain that we tried to leave on time but this whole validation snafu was what caused our lateness. The movie is 2:16! Get there 30 minutes before and sit around for previews, go back to the theater TWICE to sort it out after standing in front of the pay machine for five minutes. Come on dude. And he has the gall to say, «you are trying to cheat? Really? For one dollar?»
AMC and Westfield Mall, your parking system is crap and for one dollar that we shouldn’t even owe, you are willing to alienate a customer?
We just got a new Cineplex in the neighborhood. AMC, Reserve just got more of my business.

Clean seats, big screens, and easy navigation make this theater worth visiting. Pre-​selected seating is a strange concept to me… in that it only makes sense opening weekend for big ticket films… yet I find myself having to pre-​select seats for movies that me and my friends are seeing virtually uncontested. That is to say: If there is anybody watching, we pick the seats on either side of them, and order oodles of buttery popcorn and other spilly crap to hand back and forth over them until they move to another seat.
Then we freak out. STICK TO THE PLAN! I PAID TO SIT NEXT TO YOU!
Okay some of that may be embellished… but now you have a plan for next time you’re in the mood for shenanigans.
Back to the real review:
This theater is a wallet-​gouger. This is understandable because of its location. The concessions aren’t the most efficient… but they have piles of jalapenos in the self-​serve section… so if you’re a freak and eat your popcorn sans– butter-​but-​pro-​peno (as I do) then you’re in luck!

If you’re fairly early for the movie, the choose your own pre-​selected/​reserved seat thing is in your favor. If not, and if you’re with someone else, you can either sit 5 feet from the screen or sit separately in the random single seats available. I mean, it’s good that it shows you which seats are available so you’re not awkwardly stumbling around and asking people if a seat is available. AND this helps so that seats hoarders don’t have an unnecessary seat for their purse/​bag.
Be wary of their parking validation machine. Sometimes it doesn’t work and you still have to pay for parking even though you were literally only there for a movie

One of my «regular theaters» for a few years. Located in a shopping center catering to a very particular crowd, this theater is often the easiest choice for convenient times and selection.
Buying tickets ahead of time or at the kiosk is a better idea than the box office, which can get a long line. Concessions are also plagued by long lines despite employees trying to work quickly. Bathrooms are always pretty clean and well stocked. Theaters themselves are nice with good projection and sound.
However, because of the high turnover, mall-​goers, and plethora of choices, you will undoubtedly have a few poor experiences with noisy patrons or phone-​using teenagers. Employees rarely patrol the theaters themselves, which means no correction of poor behavior unless you say something yourself.

This is my go to movie theatre because it’s the closes by me. Of course, besides it is close by me, it always has the latest flicks too. What I really like about it is that I can purchase the ticket online and chose where I want to sit so I don’t have to rush to secure the seats.
If you enjoy the snacks while watching movies, this place has all you can eat popcorn and drinks for about $ 14. If you feel like having a pizza, they have that too, either cheese or pepperoni. The pizza is actually not bad though pricey ($ 14 for a small pepperoni or cheese).
By the way, the seats are quite comfy and the theatres are all very clean too. I highly recommend this place though a bit pricey. Oh, don’t try to use your costco coupon. They don’t accept coupons, but will validate for either 3 or 4 hrs. Please check and verify, sorry.

The AMC Prime theater has great reclining seats, but I wish they would have built-​in enough leg room so people can walk by when you are fully reclined, like the AMC Dine-​In Theater in Marina Del Rey. But the seats are very comfortable, the screen is HUGE, and the sound system is THUMPING! A premium experience compared to the standard theater.

Horrible, horrible, horrible experience today at Preview Free Movies. I can’t believe the level of disrespect I received by coming to this free movie screening. First things first, I know I shouldn’t be giving this review to AMC as I’m sure they have nothing to do with this — however, what I am mostly concerned about are the people who work for PFM are probably going to keep coming to this location.
People that work for PFM are the most rudest, crudest people I have ever met. I meant the level of sticks that are up their asses is disgusting. First of all, I understand that you are not supposed to have your cellphones inside a movie screening — but they literally had me waiting for 2 hours and when I got to the search line they told me I couldn’t have my cellphone inside. I told them that I was taking a bus, and even asked them to hold my phone with them if they were so concerned about me taking a couple of snapshots. LOL.
They denied, and I left so angry and so pissed at the time that I wasted, and how difficult they made everything to be. I don’t know why some people take their job so damn serious. Like honey, you’re just collecting printed email tickets — it’s not that serious!
This lady was walking all fast with her keys and walkie-​talkie as if she were my school’s principal… like okay, you’re no cop and you’re collecting movie tickets. LOL Not to demean, but I just will never get why some people have sticks up their asses. Totally ruined my night. Unfortunately, I can’t get those 4 hours wasted, back. Never going to another free movie screening!

As far as AMCs go, I like this one, and though I’d never drive all the way here from my home in Los Feliz just to see a box office movie, if I’m working in Beverly Hills and want to catch something after work or avoid traffic, this is my go-​to spot. It’s clean, a fairly «upscale» AMC, and they have quite a few theatres/​showings and a decent concessions bar. I love that it’s in the center of the Westfield Mall because they’re late-​night Fro Yo and Coffee Bean and shopping available, too. The crowd is respectful — sometimes AMC theaters annoy me with their loud and disruptive audiences, but this one has always been pleasant.
However, they’re re-​doing much of the parking garage and it currently SUCKS. Not only is this parking garage shared by the AMC, the entire mall, and an adjacent Gelson’s, but its spaces have also been cut in half. So it’s quite a trial to try to find parking especially on a busy night. Last Friday I spent thirty minutes driving around in the garage — it’s enough to incite claustrophobia (and the digital signs are NOT accurate in terms of available spots).

I understand that you need to put ads, previous and talk about your shows prior to the movie. but when your ticket says 6:25 and the movie starts at 7:10 you got a problem.
I went through my pop corn and soda by the begining of the movie, and missed 2 good scenes because I wanted a refill and I needed to go to the bathroom.
On the flip side, the popcorn/​drinks price is not that bad (compared to the grove, arclight, etc) and they validate parking.
I went on a monday so basically it was my private theater. That felt awesome.

For my first visit here ever, I was impressed with this place. I was here for an advance film screening. The staff directed me to the proper place, was friendly, welcoming, and professional. The theater was clean, very large, quiet, and nice appearance. The seats were very comfortable. The screen was crystal clear, no issues, large screen, and the sound quality was perfect.
Overall, I really enjoyed this theatre. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely return soon. Great location, free 3 hour parking, nice staff members, and easy access.

My boyfriend is a total movie junkie. With that being said, I reap the benefits of free movie perks! This is his movie theater of choice, thanks to his loyal AMC Stubs membership. Also, assigned seating is a must in LA. I’m not used to that since I’ve mostly watched movies in the OC.
We’ve pretty much been to all the different screens, upstairs/​downstairs, regular and Prime. Prime is definitely luxurious. Reclining leather seats with speakers and vibrations to pair with the movie, can’t beat that. It’s best for action flicks, obviously.

First of all, the parking is pretty confusing. When you pull into the parking structure, there’s an arrow pointing in the direction of the theater, but then nothing else. I thought I was in Gelson’s parking area, but actually, it was the closest parking spot to the theater. It would be so easy to add some more signs to avoid the confusion.
The theater does not validate parking, and there’s only one pay kiosk on the A level. Really? I think that’s pretty lame. It was $ 3 to park in order to see a 2 hour and 15-​minute movie.
I used my AMC Gold tickets I bought at Costco. They tack on an extra $ 2 per ticket when you use them after 4pm.
Speaking of purchasing a ticket, there are tons of self-​service kiosks, but if you’re using a pass or want to speak with someone, you will be waiting in a fairly long line with very few people (only two on a Friday night) to help you make your purchase.
The theaters themselves are nice. Lots of leg room, and you pick your seat when you purchase your ticket.
During the previews, of which are tons, there’s a bunch of noise of people talking which sounds like it’s coming from next door. I didn’t notice that noise at all during the movie. Can’t imagine that noisy neighbor noise is intentional, but maybe it is. I heard it between every preview.
Not a bad theater. Just plan on tacking on an extra $ 5 to your ticket if you’re using a Costco «Gold» ticket, and parking, or paying about $ 15 for buying a non-​IMAX or 3D ticket after 4pm. In my book, very few movies are worth $ 15. Very few.

Das Amc in Century City ist wirklich ein schönes Kino. Reserved Seating, gemütliche Sitze, fantastischer und vor allem lauter Sound und die All Beef Hotdogs waren auch nicht schlecht! Wir waren in Mad Max Fury Roads in 3D und die $ 18 haben sich absolut gelohnt!

So this is my main goto theater and i came over the weekend to see furious 7! I def come here a lot as it is fairly close to my place and inside a mall so you can hang out before your movie which is cool. It’s really new and pretty and I love the automated ticket machines because it def beats standing in line haha.
Not to mention the seating is really comfy (I especially like that you could adjust the arm rests) and that’s a huge deal for me in movie theaters. Another plus is the fact that it is slanted seating so short people like me will never have to worry about any nba players being there.
Parking is pretty easy and B level is where I’ll park usually BC it’s easy to get out of and less crowded. Parking is only free for 3 hours and the tickets are pretty expensive and these are the two reasons I deducted 2 stars. I feel that for such expensive movie tix the parking should be covered :(
They have BOMBAzzz chicken tenders! I still have yet to try their prime theater but I want to!

Love this theater! Parking is available and free for three hours upon validation at AMC. The movie theaters are huge! Sound system is amazing and as soon as a movie is released, they are showing it here. Heck I am here on thursday Watching a movie that is supposed to be in movie theaters on friday. The staff are attentive, polite and super helpful. The whole space is super clean making this experience very delightful. All the theaters are reserved seating, so you can choose where you want to seat in the movie theater in advance and nobody can take your favorite spot even if you are late. That is a huge bonus for me.
