Alex Golov Photography

I had a session with Alex and Anna recently and I was extremely excited when I saw how my headshots turned out. They are both very extremely wonderful and professional. Alex knew exactly how to bring out my most natural expressions just through conversation, which is one of my favorite things in a good photographer; the ability to make your subject feel completely relaxed and at ease. He has an eye for lighting and posture that no other headshot photographer has had with me which made the final product go way above any expectations I had. I got the proofs from Anna very quickly afterwards and had the hardest time picking my favorites because there were way too many amazing shots to choose from. Once I made my decisions, it was less than a week before Anna sent the retouched final versions (which can be a hit or miss with some photographers) but Anna took it to another level. They’re so gorgeous and striking, my eyes actually look like they’re glowing from the inside. Thank you Anna and Alex, I’m in love with my headshots!!!

I was a little nervous before my shoot with Alex Golov Photography because I have dark skin. In the past it’s been difficult for photographers to get the best lighting and I’ve been disappointed. But I must say I’m so pleased with the way my head shots turned out! Like a lot of other reviewers said, Alex and Anna start the session making you feel completely comfortable and it ultimately shows in your pictures. After the photos are taken you get the proofs instantly and choose the one you want retouched. Best of all, Anna’s retouching LOOKS NATURAL! Not cartoony or fake like some others. Overall it was a great experience. Would recommend and will use again.

Great shoot with Alex and Anna. They made me feel very comfortable, they worked very quickly and I got my proof sheet back the next day :) I loved my shots and would def recommend them. I normally get awkward but they made me feel very at ease and the shots came out awesome :)

Alex is great! He does such a great job of making you feel comfortable and letting you know if what you are doing is great. Great angles, great shots, great lighting. Highly suggest him for any use!!!

Alex and Anna are the BEST! The fact that you are comfortable from the moment you get in contact with them already made me feel they were great at what they do. The shoot was simple, comfortable, fun and done pretty quickly. Alex shows you your angles and pictures while you’re shooting so you can see what he’s looking at and you can change whatever you want. Overall, I was very impressed and my pictures came out AMAZING! The editing is done right away and I had my photos a couple days later. I am definitely shooting with this team again!

Very impressed with Alex Golov Photography! I am always a little nervous when it comes to taking head shots. Alex is an awesome photographer & his wife Anna does a fantastic job retouching. They are very professional and the session was comfortable and relaxed. I received the proof sheet promptly. After choosing my photos I received the retouched copies the next day. I would recommend them to anyone!
