Great company. We got roman shades from them 3 years ago — totally love them. Unexpectedly last night, one stopped working. I called the guy who installed them for us this morning and he was at our place within 30 minutes to fix it. Can’t beat that!!! Highly highly highly recommend them.

My wife and I ordered shades from Aero Shade to replace old ones. We had a problem with the new shades and one of the owners looked at them and agreed to have them re-​made at no extra cost to us. We brought a second group of shades for replacement. Everything looks good. I would like to commend Ashley who helped us through the entire process. There was never any pressure on us to pick out something quickly. We would return to Aero Shade for anything we needed in this line in the future.

I ordered roller shades from Aero for a loft. The sales person wasn’t very knowledgeable and just tried to sell me what everyone else was getting. I told him multiple times that I wanted my room to be dark so I could sleep in during the morning. But he kept insisting that I wouldn’t want black out shades. So I ordered what he suggested but wasn’t satisfied. I had to order new black out shades and ended up paying for my shades twice. I should have listened to myself and ordered black out in the first place.
Also the new blinds had a TERRIBLE chemical odor for the first day. I don’t know why they couldn’t air the blinds out before installing them. Instead I had to suffer through a miserable night of inhaling toxic fumes.

I had a wonderful experience with Aero Shade. This company made every effort to cater to my needs. I made an appointment to have a salesperson visit me at home. He arrived on time, was very professional, assessed my windows and interior designs, measured all the windows, and showed me a myriad of options to choose from for window coverings.
He explained and demonstrated the various factors one needs to consider when choosing coverings, from the aesthetics to the functional aspects of shade/​light & privacy offered. He was very patient with me and my wife. We then scheduled a follow up appointment at the store on 3^rd street to view even more samples in their showroom and decided on the cordless duets for most of the windows, balloon shades for the nursery, and linen drapes for the dining & living rooms.
We later scheduled the installation appointment and the workmen arrived on time, were very professional, installed everything just as they had explained they would, and everything looks fantastic! The cordless duets are amazing. Everything dovetailed nicely with our current design motif, and as a result of the salesman’s very helpful input we have fantastic light coming from the windows during the day & privacy when/​where needed.
I would highly recommend Aero Shade to anyone looking to redesign their home or office.

OK so this store appears to be clueless if you are going for a repair job. Ordered a shade repair, the guy came out and said he could do it, 1.5 weeks later i had to call to see if they were coming out. The person who answered the phone stated they will call me when they are coming out, so why have they not called? Really not personable staff and they appear to have an arrogance that they are doing you a favor? So eventually i found someone who said they were expediting my order, still another 4 days away, this is expediting an order which was place over a week ago? me thinks not. thus bad review for this group

Kind of lame. Staff is mostly nice, but can be pretty clueless (really, you’d think someone working in a shade store would have some idea whether or not they carry a certain kind of very common bracket). Selection isn’t that hot, and prices are far too high compared to what you can easily get online in the same amount of time. The whole place feels pretty dated and old school (and not in a good way). If you’re willing to schlep over to the west side, Home Carpet and Window Service in West LA has a much better, more up-​to-​date selection and far more knowledgeable staff. Otherwise, I’d just opt for one of the many cheaper, more efficient online options instead.

We are disappointed with Aero Shades’ customer service and installation.
Our installation was delayed when the technician showed up with a shade that was cut to the wrong dimensions. He put the rest of the shades up, placing one of the six incorrectly so it looked crooked. He also placed several cords on the wrong sides, ignoring the specifications we had set upon the initial visit. Someone had to come out to correct these issues, and he left an area on the wall that he told me I would have to touch up with paint. When I examined it, I saw that it would require more than just a paint touch up. I had to point this out to him – evidently he was happy to leave it looking terrible for me to repair myself. He went to his car to get spackle, came back, and repaired it. It still looked bad when he left, and there was damage to the wall in several places from sloppy installation. Additionally, the screws on one of the shades were not placed flush with the wall and were sticking out. He had to come back again to repair these errors, and in the end we have holes in our wall that wouldn’t be there if the shades had been installed correctly to begin with.
No compensation was offered for these mistakes – only a sheepish apology. We asked for a discount due to the damage, and after an awkward conversation, we were told management would be consulted and we’d be notified the next business day about what they could do for us. We were not notified; we had to email them to get an answer, and they said they’d knock $ 100 off our bill. When we received the final bill, it did not reflect the discount.
We shopped around, and Aero Shades gave us the most expensive quote for what we wanted. They did a poor job and were not worth the cost.

Great service, exceptional price and knowledgeable staff. Jack the owner may be the most impressive measuring tape handler I have ever seen. The drapes and blinds came in sized right and installation was a breeze. Definitely recommend to all our friends and family!

I called a few local places inquiring about bottom-​up shades with no luck and most suggested the more expensive alternative of top-​down bottom-​up shades. I wasn’t looking for anything fancy and almost gave up until I contacted Aero Shades.
The salesman, Rob, came out to my condo within the next few days to take measurements and was really professional about everything. He didn’t try to sell me on the other more expensive styles (motorized, top-​down bottom-​up, etc) and brought a bunch of different samples to make my selection. Since I’ve very indecisive, I asked him to send me samples of a few of the fabrics along with a quote which he was glad to do and it arrived in just a few days.
I was told a 2 – 3 week turnaround to cut/​make the shades, but I wasn’t in a rush. A few weeks later, Salvador, the installer came by and set everything up nicely. The shades came out just as I expected for the price. Nothing to complain about so far.
There was a minor mistake on my final balance and Rob fixed it promptly. From my conversations with both guys, it seems like they do jobs all over the area including out of state.
5 windows approximately 5’x8’ each was about $ 1000 total. (solar trans shade material)
The entire process was convenient, especially that I didn’t have to drive out to their store. Yes, I’m lazy.

I had decided on Bottom-​Up Shades which I found exceeding difficult to purchase in LA. I had two sources in Northern California but did not want to do the installation myself.
I walked into AeroShade and met Chris who showed me the sample in the showroom and let me take home samples of several fabrics that I was interested in.
Rob came out to measure the windows and answer my questions. He brought the sample book and I bought solar shades. I was told that it would be about 2 weeks.
Well, 5 days later they were ready for installation. The installer [sorry, forgot his name] was very nice and did an excellent job installing 19 shades total! I put both the deposit and the final payment on my credit card, no problem.
I would buy from AeroShade again.

While the staff is very nice, they are not very competent nor professional. When the shades were installed the measurements were done wrong and they ended up covering half of my window. When they came back a second time to fix the problem, they made a second mistake with a piece of wood that fits in the roller shade, it wasn’t cut right. The third time, the person installing (Rob) didn’t bring a stool to step and had to borrow a pouf from my living room. the shades also don’t hang very straight. To top it off there has been a lot of confusion with the prices they give you. I was not satisfied with their services and will not be going back.

These guys know their shades. I recently had vertical blinds put in. Not only did they come to measure they even came back to measure a second time after I had new floors put in just to be sure. I really appreciated the extra effort.
Everyone was courteous professional and polite from the receptionist, to the salesmen, to the installer. When the factory sent the wrong bar (side open when I wanted a center open) they took care of it very quickly.
My family has used them before and we will continue to use this company exclusively for our window treatment needs.

This small family business deserves your patronage! I confess I had a rough start with them, owing to the withholding of some fundamental information by less-​than-​knowledgable staff, but the professional sales team and the owners are incredibly conscientious. They fixed my problem and comped me installation in order to keep my business. I’d definitely trade with them again. I bought room-​darkening shades that are working pretty well. If they aren’t perfect, it isn’t because of a flaw in the product but rather that I have old-​fashioned double-​hung windows that make total blackout almost impossible. Their shades are produced locally, another good reason to buy from Aero Shade.
