History

Established in 2006.

Adrian, also known as «Shorty,» is an award-​winning tattoo artist which started his tattooing career in 2000, professionally since 2004. He is self taught, but is still learning, with many great artists influencing and enriching his experiences as an artist. Adrian was blessed to have opened «Under the Skin Tattoo Studio», a West Los Angeles-​based studio, in 2006, and has also been fortunate enough to have appeared in music videos with Baby bash, Lil Jon, and People Under the Stairs, just to name a few. He has also been featured in various publications such as PAIN Magazine, Flash Magazine, Swagg News Magazine, and URB​.com

Since then, he has moved to a private studio in the city of Pico Rivera. Here, the tattoo experience becomes more personal, making sure that his clients are comfortable and have the best expierence possible with an exclusive but comfortable atmosphere.

Adrian puts special emphasis on keeping a clean and sterile work environment. All equipment is single use and disposable. His up-​to-​date certification for blood borne pathogens, first aid, and CPR training are displayed in the studio. All various types of tattoo work are catered to. From color, to black & gray, to portraits, he can handle just about anything you throw at him. The bigger the challenge, the better. Adrian strives to improve his craft every day. The client is always encouraged to be a part of the design process. This way everyone leaves with a one-​of-​a-​kind design which is unique to the individual.
