We believe our work is an integral part of a multi-​faceted treatment plan, which can include a therapist, participation in 12-​step and other community-​based groups, and sober living or residential treatment. We are skilled in the evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment planning for addictive disorders.

History

Established in 2007.

The Addiction Medicine Group at the Cedars-​Sinai Medical Office Towers is a group of physicians specializing in the medical treatment of addiction throughout all its stages, from initial detoxification and early recovery to maintenance and full sobriety. As fully-​trained psychiatrists, we are skilled in the screening, assessment, and treatment of underlying depression, anxiety, insomnia, ADHD, and other mental health conditions.

Meet the Manager

Manager

Dr. Hrymoc is the founder and medical director of the Addiction Medicine Group. He is board-​certified in General Psychiatry, Addiction Psychiatry, and Addiction Medicine. He obtained his subspecialist training in Addiction Psychiatry at Cedars-​Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he currently practices. He also holds positions as a clinical instructor in Addiction Psychiatry at both UCLA and Cedars-​Sinai Medical Centers. Dr. Hrymoc is also a consulting physician to several prestigious drug and alcohol treatment centers in Los Angeles.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Hrymoc continues to be active in the local addiction treatment community. In September 2008, he founded Perspectives on Addiction, an interdisciplinary educational group for addiction professionals in Los Angeles. Finally, Dr. Hrymoc co-​authored a chapter in the most recent edition of Principles of Addiction Medicine and has been published in numerous academic journals.
