I wish I could give Dr. Sands a higher review. He’s is genuinely one of the nicest people I have ever met and has worked wonders on my back. As a person in the fitness industry my body is my job and I have to really take care of it — after having some upper back issues I was referred to Dr Sands (everyone in my studio swears by him and they are right!) and I have been seeing him regularly since. He has not only helped alleviate the pain I was having he took time to educate me on the root of my pain, gives me stretches and strengthening work to do when Im home and has given me more knowledge on the human body. He isn’t someone that just adjusts you without giving you the information — which is important we should all understand how our body works and what we can do to prevent and fix our issues.. He has always been kind, accommodating and funny as well. One appointment I look FOWARD to going to!
Hes has a great wealth of knowledge in fitness as well, which really helps when dealing with people that work out or are athletes. Because his knowledges ranges with all different kinds of works outs he’s really able to fine tune what it is you put your body through on a regular basis and what work to do to compliment your fitness regimen.
I would suggest if you are looking for someone to look no further, he’s is the kind of person i would send anyone I love to.

When I went into Dr. Sands 6 months ago, I was barely walking. He initially worked with me doing triage to try to figure out what was going on with my right leg and back. He also referred me to get x-​rays and then an MRI. He’s also had referrals for orthopedic surgeons and acupuncturists. I tried everything over the last few months of dealing with a herniated disc, but through it all I’ve worked with Dr. Sands to try to keep my alignment right. He’s a great person and a great chiropractor. Today I’m back on my feet in large part because of the thorough treatment and assistance I received from Dr. Sands. Highly recommend.

Dr. Sands has helped me many times with back & shoulder issues. He’s very gentle with his approach, and talks you through exactly what he is doing– so you always feel at ease. If you are looking for a chiropractor that genuinely cares about your well-​being, Dr. Sands is that guy!

As a professional athlete, my back locked up pretty bad in 2011 due to a herniated disc. Adam worked on me twice a week, for over a month, before ever attempting to adjust or crack me. Instead, he did active release and deep tissue, until I was finally loose enough to be adjusted. Most chiros just crack you left and right and send you on your way… Do yourself a favor and see a real chiropractor like Adam before you get a cracker that just makes your life worse…
I’m very happy with the treatment I’ve been getting, and have sent my wife to him (who is also a professional athlete). We wouldn’t consider going anywhere else.

I came in to see Dr. Adam Sands because I was experiencing both neck and shoulder pain. I work out 5 days a week and put a lot of stress on my body. I got in a car accident 3 years ago which hurt my shoulder but the pain wasn’t to bad until I started working out regularly. I also started to have neck pain and a limited range of motion when I would look to the right.
When I came in to see Dr. Sands he could feel how my left shoulder blade was winging out. He adjusted my shoulder blade and the pain released! The he tested my neck seeing how far left and right I could look. He then worked on it and it loosened up!
After the adjustments he took me the equipments room and showed me different exercises I could do at home to strengthen my shoulder in the right position. Then showed me different stretches to do to keep my neck from tensing up.
For the first month I went twice a week to get adjusted and then do the exercises to strengthen when I’d get home. I don’t have to go as often because I feel so much better and not experiencing any tension.
If you need adjusting and looking from a chiropractor I highly suggest Dr. Sands. He makes you feel very welcomed and comfortable, and so does the girl at the front desk. He tells you everything that need to know so you have all the information about what’s going on with your body and how to take care of it.

Hands down the best chiropractor I have ever been to, and I have seen a few. I have been under his care for over a year now and he has helped me and my overall health tremendously. I have some old injuries from a car accident 10 years ago (broken back, hips and many ribs). Living a very active lifestyle frequently gets me into «trouble.» However, because of my regular visits to Dr. Sands I have stayed injury free. Maintaining my regular appointments is key and I would strongly recommend him to anyone! In addition I will add that my posture has improved greatly and I feel healthier than ever.
His office and its staff are also wonderful. Calm and peaceful atmosphere and I truly look forward to each visit!
I also must add that he is one of the kindest, most caring and genuine people I know! Just adore him!

Great Chiropractor, especially if you are into sports. He fixed me up after a boxing injury, definitely worth driving down to Venice. Highly recommended.

So, my son sustained a knee injury a couple weeks prior to his senior year of football. It was a weird injury because he simply stepped wrong and his body went one way and his knee went the other way. But, it was so painful. His pediatrician said to just stay off it. Well, 2 weeks later he was still on the sidelines and losing muscle mass in the injured leg. Enter Dr. Sands! I decided to bring him here based on some amazing reviews from coworkers of mine. But I did not know if Dr. Sands could help him. I just felt that since Jp stepped wrong he must not only have messed up his knee he must have screwed up his whole alignment. Well, Jp was indeed a mess! One leg was a whole quarter inch shorter than the other. Dr sands said he was also dragging the effects of repeated hits from football and he straightened him all out. He immediately felt relief and 2 weeks later the boy was back on the field as the star punter using the once injured leg. Thank u Dr. Sands!!!

I’ve been to many chiropractors throughout my life and this was by far the BEST experience I’ve had. Dr. Sands is so detailed in his work and describes exactly what is going on with your spine AND your surrounding muscles! He’s so personal and present in the moment which I’ve found is a rare quality in today’s doctors offices. Not only that, he makes sure you leave with a ton of exercises to practice to prevent any future issues. Thanks Dr. Sands for an incredible experience!

Great Chiropractor. Dr. Sands was able to get a good range of motion back into my neck and help with headaches and my adrenaline fueled life.
Very kind and talks you through what he’s doing and finding while doing your adjustments. Seems knowledgeable and I would definitely recommend him to anyone in need.
Knocked off 1 star for out of network, but that’s an insurance thing and I’m sure there’s other reasons he’s out of network. Nothing related to Dr. Sands’ practice, but I would have my visits 100% covered if he was in-​network. Not a show stopper for me, but it’s something to consider.
Overall, great guy and a good doc. You’ll be happy you saw him.

Dr. Sands is a great one! And this place is great on its own.
The place is nice and clean, with a lot of equipment for helping recovery, a pilates bed, and a gym room. These help you to do any recovery.
I had always had lower back pain and it got worse when I had to spend several months sitting in front the desk and typing all day long. My wrist also got injured from typing. And the lower back was crying at me. So I decided to take some actions.
I heard Dr. Sands from upstairs yoga people, so I called for a reservation. And then I started to come for treatment, and till now it has been almost two months! I have to say Dr. Sands is really friendly as well as knowledgeable. He has great courtesy, which makes you feel at ease, as well as savviness, which makes you feel he is able to help you recover.
So after several weeks of consistent treatment, my wrist pain has completely gone! And my severe lower back pain has almost gone, even though it is not fully recovered because it takes time to heal (it wasn’t a one day injure and has been there long), I wish I would have known him earlier and got treated earlier. But at least my pain is gradually leaving me.
Highly recommended if your body is not doing right or there is any pain bothers you. He will be able to help you figure out and help you recover.

Dr. Sands is an amazing chiropractor. I surf and train in martial arts regularly so I get hurt pretty often. I have been seeing Dr. Sands for last several months and my performance level on both sports has increased quite a bit. I always leave his office feeling much better. I highly recommend Dr. Sands. He’s got my back!

After only a few visits to Dr. Adam Sands, I feel like a new woman! I have mobility in my neck that I haven’t had in a long time and my aches and pains are going away!

Dr. Sands is amazing!!! I decided it was time to see him bc my shoulder and neck were acting up. I sit at my desk for work for 11hrs a day, on the phone constantly and sometimes with a handset on both sides/​ears. All that work stress, coupled with waking up at 3am for work and working out 5x a week, it was bound to happen that the my shoulders and neck would be strained.
Dr. Sands is extremely professional without coming off cold. He truly does care about your well being and wants to know details about your life so as to correctly diagnose your injury/​pain. He asked me about my past health condition, my current as well as parent’s. He took the time to show me a few exercises I could do at home or at the office to help with my issues. I am so happy he is very close to where I live and there are parking spots available in the back if you need to drive and see him. HIs office is very clean!!! he has state of the art equipment for those who need rehab and physical therapy.
In addition to my shoulder and neck pain, my hips have always been «off» — one side clicks when I do bicycle crunches and other exercises… At times when the stress in my lower back or hips adds up, I can feel myself favoring my right side (I am right handed so it is my power side) and I feel as if I am walking crooked/​leaning towards one side to compensate. It’s the worst! Getting adjusted here and there helps to alleviate the pain and correct my posture.
I will be back to see Dr. Sands. I am glad I was introduced to his practice by others.

As good as it gets for sure! I have been in pain for the last 6 months from a car wreck and have been seeing doctors and even acupuncturists. No matter what the pain continues to flare up within 24 hours. I went to see Dr. Sands and could not believe how quickly I felt better. The moment I walked out I knew I was already a ton better. I am really excited for the to know and feel that I will actually make a recovery without suffering from daily pain. He made me feel comfortable and even gave me things that are doable to continue to feel better.

With a bevy of issues, I’m really particular with doctors. I had good feeling about Dr. Adam Sands not only because of his picture but also because I had heard such good things through word of mouth. From the moment I walked in I felt extremely comfortable as the office was clean and welcoming.
Because I was a new patient, I was not looking forward to the 1,000 forms that you typically have to fill out upon seeing a new doctor. I often don’t know the answer to any of the questions asked and find all of the information needed to be off topic. Dr. Adam Sand’s office only had 4 forms to fill out, all of which I felt were non-​aggressive. Some even had pictures on it where I think you were supposed to point to pain, but I just added doodles to it for aesthetic pleasure.
After meeting Dr. Adam Sands his friendliness and positivity was beyond apparent. We sat down in his office that was decorated with a definite masculine touch. He asked me a couple questions about my physical health, and athletic background. He was very inquisitive, not in a creepy way, but in a way where I felt he cared and wanted to help me. I told him about my various ailments and deficiencies and with a nonjudgmental attitude Dr. Adam Sands gave me helpful to tips to fix my current issues at hand. We did some light stretching and adjusting.
After the session, he led me to his state of the art gym conveniently located in his office and showed me some exercises to practice at home. His extensive knowledge about the body evident as his advice was pertinent, comprehensible and helpful.
I cant wait to go back!

Dr. Sands is an exceptional Chiropractor. I was given a strong referral for him after injuring my shoulder pretty bad. I also have quite a few other issues because I have a little s-​curve and have done quite a bit of damage to myself dancing since I was quite young.
My only prior experience with a chiropractor in the past wasn’t the most excellent, but Dr. Sands has shown me the benefits of a great chiropractor. He specializes in working with athletes, so I highly recommend him if you have any sports related injuries– but he’s great for anyone.
Because of my spinal curvature my shoulders have always been uneven– one trapezius muscle was always engaged trying to compensate. First time Dr. Sands adjusted me this went away. My mind was really blown. He’s really helped relieve my pain as well as gave me physical therapy exercises to do for my injury and other issues.

As a first time patient to any chiropractor, I can gladly say my experience was exceptional. Dr. Sands took the time to let me thoroughly explain my lifestyle, the pain I was experiencing and helped explain what was going on with my body.

Dr Adam Sands is incredibly thorough in his examination of patients and really takes the time to find out what is wrong and what can be done to help. He is also very knowledgable and has a lot of experience.
