Came here for a catered meal. The food we had was fresh and tasty. We were served all the traditional jewish foods and condiments. (gefilte fish, challah, matzhoh ball soup, kugels, cole slaw, horseradish, etc) The service was excellent. They were able to accommodate last-​minute requests. I asked for a vegetarian meal, and the owner went into the kitchen to prepare it for me. The owners are a family and they are really «hands-​on» with making sure that every guest is satisfied. We lingered aroung long past closing feeling welcome and enjoying the group. The staff were very courteous and waited patiently so that they could close.

Pretty good restaurant, with very affordable and pretty large menu, great for families or budget savy. Their burger section prices can beat any other kosher restaurant.
Table dressing is upscale for an american/​mediterranean food place.
They have parking in back.
One can see their kitchen is pretty clean.
The owners have been in this business for decades and I know their catering service has success in community.
Why going to Pico/​Robertson when you can find it in Hancock Park?

Food is fine but constantly closed way before posted hours and randomly at that. If you want to close early then change your posted hours to actual hours. Very annoying.

Stopped in Abba’s on La Brea (between Beverly and third) because our production office is located Midtown at La Brea and Wilshire. Not only kosher for Passover, but Abba’s restaurant is in my price range too. I had the Chakchucka for $ 12. They also have a kosher burger and kosher hotdog in the same price range (or less.) Can’t wait to try their year round kosher menu next week!

A great kosher restaurant. Lots of homemade food. Their Philly Steak is a good, messy sandwich. Their coleslaw is fabulous on a hot dog. Try the excellent homemade baked goods. They also do beautiful catering.
