My car wasn’t passing the smog emissions test and I needed a new catalytic converter. Knowing that my 2000 jeep wrangler only has one converter and that most have 3 I took it several places. The first few places I went didn’t believe me when I told them it had 1 converter. They all had to lift it and see that a woman was actually right! Holy hell???
I finally took it to VJ and not only did he know what he was talking about he fixed my jeep within a few hours. He saved the day and did it for the right price. I highly recommend this place if you don’t pass a smog test and need some car love.

Just took it today for the first time my old bmw for smog check at this star station. I was afraid they would gonna tell to replace catalytic or other things so i did a pre test first which costed 25 and it came perfect. Originally the smog would had been 60 but the total came 85 with the pre test charge. Honest Armenian guys and quick.

I agree with Sam D’s review. This is more than just a smog test station. I’ve been here three times. First time was a smog test, second was to replace my shocks and third to change my timing belt plus tensioner.
The guys here are very polite and very straightforward when it comes to price quotations. I was surprised and how quick they are able to perform automotive services as I was able to get my cars timing belt replaced in one day. Of course I dropped it off when they opened but still that was a very fast change.
I am completely satisfied with their services and plan on bringing my car again for any future repairs or services it may require.

My car failed its test here, so I took it elsewhere to have it repaired. No problems were found, and the tech put the car on their smog equipment to show me the numbers (all good), so I went back to AA Vj for a free re-​test. Failed again with wildly different measurements. Returned to my mechanic who insisted the car should pass. Paid a new $ 60 to a different test-​only shop. Passed easily. Check your gear, AA Vj.

This is much more than just a smog test station. It’s actually a combination of 3 shops owned by the same family. They do all types of mechanical automotive work.
I went there today for exhaust system repair and wheel alignment because the previous mechanic I’d been going to does not do that kind of work. Besides, I was getting fed up with him for other reasons. Anyway, the guys here were polite, competent and honest with me. And their prices were fair. What more could I ask for? They even did a couple minor things I needed at no charge. The premises are VERY clean and well organized. I’ll be returning in the future.
My 5 star rating is based on my one-​time experience today.
