7-Eleven

Today, Friday February 12, 2016, a female 7 – 11 employee who is African American got a head start on celebrating President’s Day by robbing a 7 – 11 customer right at a 7 – 11 cash register. It happened at the 5501 South Figueroa Street 7 – 11, which is right near the University of Southern California and is open ²⁴⁄₇. The female employee took a twenty dollar bill for a purchase that was supposed to cost $ 4.35 plus sales tax and gave the customer back 65 cents. The female 7 – 11 employee pretended to check a security camera to see what kind of bill the customer gave her while a male 7 – 11 employee verified to the customer that the customer had, in fact, given his co-​worker a twenty dollar bill. This same male 7 – 11 employee, however, refused to give the customer his cell phone to call the police. Also at the 5501South Figueroa St. location in Los Angeles, an African American came in and picked up a free large fountain drink that he filled himself and walked right out in front of two male Latino 7 – 11 employees without paying. He simply scooted out and jumped into a late model grey Toyota. One of those same employees has over-​charged me a dollar for a small coffee. When will this stop?

Cool 711, nice staff, friendly and considerate. They keep the coffee hot & fresh, and they keep this place as clean as possible. Beware of the bums hustling outside.

Super helpful staff! Very clean, easy parking, nice looking building. I’ll go the extra few blocks to go here over other convenience stores.

Not the nicest people but they do keep everything stocked and organized. Had a bad experience with a hotdog from here so u have to give the /​stars. Let’s just say I was throwing up for 2 hours after I ate it. Something ain’t right…

7-​Eleven I think every state and country should have one. I loved coming through here for mid night snacks or a big slushy. You will find them all over LA. Make an effort to stop in one. Unfortunately for this location, yes parking is a little tight, but to be honest you can’t complain about tight parking spaces until you leave the states.

This is definitely a run in and run out 7-​Eleven. Well always expect homeless people outside but here there’s always a lot going on outside. Especially with the motel at the next corner with prostitutes and occasional under cover cops. I’m not kidding. One of my friends was even approached at this 7-​Eleven to see if she was a prostitute… and no she definitely does not look like one by all means. Very conservative girl. Interesting how this 7-​Eleven attracts people. Always people hanging out in the parking lot begging for money and just hanging out.

Bad attitude. Bad service. Bad Darshan.

7−11… no more no less.
trying to get into this place is a nightmare… then hopefully once you get in you can find a spot to park in. otherwise, you are S-​O-​L.

Plenty of parking on and off lot. If by chance it’s crowded they always open both registers. Their products are always good and fully stocked. This one cashier is always flirty but unless I’m getting a discount it ain’t happening.

Heading to the club and my guests that just got there needed to get a few things, so I stopped by here real quick. Inside, there was a mix of all kinds of people, including maybe some working girls, and one or two people that probably hadn’t slept for a few days… everyone was pretty cool tho. The guy working the counter was nice too. Got what I needed, then went back to the car. Watched two older homeless ladies yell at each other for a few minutes, then took off for the club.

many late dark lonely nights i’ve walked to here to soothe a passing, albeit crippling depression, to purchase booze.
there’s almost always 1 – 3 demented homeless people, who not only ask for money, but will often ask for a beer. i used to give them one instead of change, but lately they’ve become more feral and aggressive. the kind that will be having a violent argument with their shoe in the middle of the street (fyi, i actually saw this happen here). so, i just say sorry and go on my way.
it’s a typical 7-​eleven. slurpy machine, hot dog machine, soda fountain machine. they have a doughnut case, and sandwiches and all that crap. beer and wine of course.
i think it’s owned by an arabian family as i see the same guys there all the time. they’re friendly and quick about things. i don’t hold anything against people’s beliefs and/​or religions, but these guys either don’t use deodorant and sweat profusely, or they don’t shower cause it smells like a ravaging case of B.O. up in there.
there’s also an atm machine. eh, what else? it’s fairly clean besides the sidewalk in front that is littered with various fluids and gum.

This 7 – 11 represents convenience stores for what their meant for; fast, friendly, and convenient. Just a short shopping cart ride away from home base, this 7 – 11 provides a wide variety of Slurpee flavors, a solid selection of beers both domestic and imported (although they could always have more), and enough snacking to shake a stick with tape on the end of at. Lacking your local bums outside like other convenience stores may offer you say? Think again, this 7 – 11 comes fully equip with those friendly change jigglers right outside to greet you as you enter the building AND as you leave. This 7 – 11 has all of your «on the go» needs and then some. I give it a high-​five.
