So happy I found this little gem! I was walking around and noticed this store(which surprisingly I hadn’t noticed yet) and had to check it out. Being an esthetician myself, ingredients are extremely important to me and I really love how simple the ingredients are and the variety of products they carry. My friend and I were helped out by a really sweet and knowledgeable girl named Tamia, she answered every single question I threw at her and in a very confident way! I tried a a couple things from there this morning and I loved it! Can’t wait to go back and buy more! Thank you Tamia for all your help!!!

The visit to this store was one of my first times trying on make-up and quite frankly, it was not a good experience at all. A week ago I decided to have the ladies at Sephora give me a mini makeover. I was so impressed and had never felt more confident. I’m 23 and a careful, conscious shopper. Even though I found animal cruelty free makeup, it still was loaded with aluminum and EDTA, things I rather avoid getting into my bloodstream. So that’s when today I walked into 100% pure for a non-toxic foundation. First of all, I was not greeted. The woman who I assume to be the manager did not look up and it was my husband who asked if they could maybe help me find the right product. Okay, so this girl puts on the foundation when some of her obnoxious buddies walk in and casually start chatting with her. I can’t help but notice the lack of professionalism, the lack of interest in helping me, this attitude of boredom she was trying to give me when after applying eyeliner on one side she just left me and went to join the manager and her customer. She had already wiped off the foundation because I thought it was applied bad so there I was, with one dark chocolate lashline — also bad applied. Admitting you’re not good and asking whether the customer can apply it herself, it just leaves a bad impression. I do think some of their products have potential because I’ve seen pictures of people who look immaculate with their make-up. Also, the many body scrubs seem nice. Not that I’ll ever buy any of it, I’ll make my own sugar scrub. Don’t go unless you don’t mind horrible customer service.

This is my new line since visiting this store at Topanga. I have to tell you that the staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable of their products. I ask many questions about what I am looking for in a skincare and they are always eager to help me with my needs. I have to let everyone know that the coffee bean eye cream in amazing. I was given a sample and returned to buy it. I even gave it away for mother’s day gifts to my mom and sister and both of them loved it. Another must have would be the nourishing facial oil. It has Cabernet Wine Grapeseed, Vitamin E, Lavender, Rosemary. And try the super fruits night balm. It will provide a lot of moisture for your face during the dry summer. Put this on at night to soak in. The staff there always gives me a sample to try it at home, and I always return to buy it. As far as the prices, I do not think they are pricey at all. You get what you pay for. The coffee bean eye cream tube is about $ 20.00 and so is the bottle of facial oil. This is a high quality all natural product and I definitely want to try their makeup line next. So ladies, if you are ever in Topanga mall, stop by 100% Pure and pick up some samples of this wonderful product line and see for yourself. You will be 100% SOLD!

Really bummed to see the two poor reviews. I love this line of cosmetics and I drove all the way from Huntington Beach for them. Customer service was great and as always I’m completely satisfied with my purchases. I will say that the makeup is pricey, but nothing drastic. Prices are comparable to most high end lines. It’s a matter of affordability. People who complain about price shouldn’t be shopping for high end things. There is plenty of cheap toxin ridden crap out there. You’re paying for quality and purity, not to mention cruelty free cosmetics. It’s worth it if you ask me, and again, no more expensive than MAC or Clinique. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking quality, safe, animal friendly products.

Horrible customer service I will never be back again I’ve only been to this place 3 times(one of which I had to come back to return 2 products that were sold to me on mistake AND not warned about) I definitely want to change makeup products to non toxic more clean n natural but there is no way I’m spending my money here again. The people who work here, never NEVER recommended anything! Why work anywhere where you can’t sell! How am I supposed to know what I need from a line that barely came out?! The last time I came here, I got their bronzer and I noticed things were really pricy but it’s ok if it’s great quality. Right?! Anyways… no one greeted me! No one asked my name or what I need… nothing. Then I asked around. Do you have this?! Do you have that?! Hmm… what color should I go with?! Then next time I came all the way from Bakersfield where I currently reside to finally get some stuff. Mary who is the manager failed to greet me, ask me if I need help or even recommend things. Horrible management if you ask me! I asked about the black tea eyeliner and she showed me the blackberry(which is purple) good thing I caught that! By the way that time 2 weeks prior to this I came here wanting the mascara and they took my email and told me they would let me know as soon as it came… Not! Apparently. I told mary this and she didn’t show any emotions… Then I asked about the eyeliner and she showed the blackberry telling me it’s black — well let me tell you it isnt! It’s purple so I got that assuming it’s black Then I got a lip gloss… Apprantly there needs to be a tube that has to be taken out for the applicator to actually get some color from the tube which no one told me So again I came all this way learning this now… along with the mascara not being black Can you imagine coming 2.5 hours just to fix a mistake that should have never happened? hmm Now hear this: I asked today if they have any lip liners, because mary told me they didn’t — guess what?! They have 3 lip liners … Not spending money here again.

I use to be a loyal online customer. At first I loved the company and what they stood for. I was excited that they open a store close to me, Topanga! But when I started shopping there I noticed on several occasions that white and Asian customers received better and IMMEDIATE service! I’m african American and I work in retail so at first I was thinking maybe they’re just«busy» on the times I would come in. So I would continue to come back. But on 3 separate occasions with 3 different workers I noticed discrimination. I couldn’t believe the poor customer service I received! And the icing on the cake was that many of their products are mislabeled! Several items including the eyeliner have«vegan» on the packaging but they in fact contain honey! I will definitely be reaching out to PETA and the BBB! I wish I could l leave zero stars!
