I was trained at Yale and Columbia University. Then I stayed on at Columbia University as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Child Psychiatry, College of Physicians and Surgeons, before I came back to the San Francisco Bay Area. Currently, I am a Clinical Associate Professor at Stanford University School of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences (affiliate), and a Professor of Clinical Psychology at the Ph.D. Clinical Psychology program at the California School of Professional Psychology in San Francisco (APA-accredited program training Ph.D. students). I am a licensed Clinical Psychologist in California and New York.
I have extensive experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds and life experiences, as well as on various challenges and issues.
