After moving to the area 5 years ago, I was apprehensive about finding a new stylist. After much searching online, I found Nicoll and I couldn’t be happier. She is an absolute professional and an expert at what she does. I always walk out happy with my cut and color. Furthermore, I’ve gotten to know Nicoll over the years and now consider her a friend. She is genuine, kind, and caring, and I have been so thankful to have met her.

She is responsive, kind, cool, and just a pleasure to do business with. Having recently moved to the Bay Area, I was looking for a new hair stylist. I relied on word of mouth and Unilocal for my search, and I was steered correctly to Nicoll Kane! Nicoll is an independent contractor who works at Cezanne salon in downtown Los Altos. Upon contacting her, she was very responsive and accommodating on getting me in. You immediately get the feeling that Nicoll devotes individualized attention to each of her clients. Upon meeting her, I was impressed by her professionalism. She had great ideas about my hair (for both cut and color) yet remained open to hearing what I wanted. She worked efficiently yet simultaneously was meticulous in her work. She gave me a wonderful cut and color! Her prices are also very fair.
I highly recommend Nicoll Kane. She is a warm, caring person as well as an excellent hair stylist.

I emailed Nicoll the night before and she squeezed me in the next day. She is very pleasant and energetic to talk with. She sized my hair up pretty quick and got started. She maintains focus on you hair but keeps conversation flowing. My wife loved my haircut afterwards and so do I. Excellent job and experience.

I just moved to the bay area and was really nervous about finding a new stylist. After some research I went in and had an evaluation with Nicoll. She was so nice and clearly knew what she was talking about. I booked my appointment for a color and a blow out (I had never had one before). I had an appointment in 10 days (I used to wait weeks to get in to my old stylist), I was given a reminder call and when I arrived she Nicolle was ready right on time. I can’t say enough about how happy I am with the blow out and color! It is so easy to get ready to go and every day is a good hair day! I am getting tons of compliments from old friends and even people I don’t know! My color looks natural and I am amazed at how shiny and healthy it looks. Nicoll said this would change my life and she wasn’t kidding. I will certainly continue going to Nicolle at Cezanne.

:(when I asked to tone out some of the warmth in my level 8 balayage, she put a level 6 demi on me and sat me under heat for 30 minutes. I didn’t know what she was doing so I trusted her. Bad mistake. I spent the next 4 hours lifting the color out to see my balayage again. My hair had turned to a level 5⁄6 all over.

Nicoll has cut my fine, curly, slightly wayward hair for several years and always does a first-​rate job. Lately, my hair has become very dry and she was able to help me with product recommendations and another great cut. So, I arrived at the salon with hair that looked like a haystack in a windstorm and left with hair that looked groomed, shiny, and lively. Thanks, Nicoll!
