I feel so good writing this review of Dorothy Liu.
I’m going to make this recommendation short (so you’ll read it)!
Her professionalism, marvelous work ethic, and experience combined with common sense make her a real estate agent you’ll really want working for you. She helped us get our house ready to sell, sold it at a great price, and found a down-​sized home that’s just what we needed and wanted and, now, live in happily.
Yes, 5 stars, but if I could choose 10 stars she’d get 10 stars. She’s that good!

I have used Dorothy’s service for buying a town home a few years ago. From the the start to finish, she helped me navigate through the process, by providing timely and accurate information so I could make decisions and make progress with the transaction. Although this purchase was a few years ago, I am still in touch base with her and seek opinion when it comes to real estate or even home expansion. Since she is in this business for a reasonable number of years she has more in depth knowledge of the industry and the trends.
I would highly recommend using her service based on my experience.

Dorothy won our confidence immediately and she quickly laid out a plan of action. Dorothy suggested ways to get the most bang for the buck — do whatever is needed to sell the house — painting, beautifying, staging, gardening etc. She was willing to listen and accommodate as we pleasantly realized. She had a complete list of contractors in all areas of work that we could choose from.
Dorothy is now a ‘friend for life”. Sometimes we felt we were imposing on her, partly because she was always responsive. We thank Dorothy very sincerely for all her help and efforts. We can confidently attest she is the best realtor for us and for everyone without any reservation.

Dorothy Liu has stood out from the beginning, her rankings are excellent, her social media presence is strong, and my family has used her services for years. Dorothy entered my search criteria, and contacted me personally about matches for a few weeks. Then, when we had narrowed down our results, she patiently led us to home after home. When we finally chose a home, Dorothy made the process extremely easy and took extra steps many other Realtors don’t. On the night before we made the offer, she stayed up for 2 hours explaining each portion of the paperwork to me. She even spoke with our mortgage consultant and directly managed the handoff of paperwork from him. When our offer was accepted we were blown away. Her hard work and knowledge of what it takes to buy a home really paid off.
I will be recommending Dorothy Liu to everyone I know. She is a true professional and a genuinely nice person. The process of buying a new home is not easy, but there won’t be anyone so dedicated to making it better than Dorothy Liu.

Dorothy helped us rent out our home in west San Jose area. Her market knowledge and advise about things to be done to the house greatly attracted pool of qualified tenants. Importantly she was willing to go for the extra miles in order to gather information so we were able to select high quality tenant among all applicants. She was always on top of things. With her experience of the business, I truly believe we got the best deal for this project.

When we bought our 1^st house, we had a different agent who was not so good. Although she was not pushy, but she was not very proactive, either. She didn’t do any research for me, and even tried to hide some facts about the house we bought. After all that, she still asked us to leave her a 5-​star review. I didn’t want to, but my husband did. (boo!)
So, when we decide to purchase a new house, I was determined to find a truly good agent. We found Dorothy through a good friend’s recommendation. I am very thankful to my friend who recommended Dorothy to me!!! That’s how much I like Dorothy.
The reasons why I love her:
1) Efficiency: She is always very prompt at replying calls, texts, e-​mails, or any kind of inquiries. I can always get all the info I need right away.
2) Proactive: After we see a house, she will do all the follow up works immediately like comps, market info, disclosures, and all the extra things. However, she didn’t make me feel pushy. She just provided all the info that I might need and have the documents ready just in case if we want to move on to make an offer.
3) Knowledgeable: Not only she is very professional in her field, she is also very knowledgeable in renovating, remodeling houses, or even building a new home because her husband is a professional at building houses. She can tell me what material is good /​bad, what to use /​what to avoid, and other details that I wouldn’t notice.
4) Kind personality: She is very friendly and funny to work with. I always feel very comfortable touring houses with her. She is also very kind with other agents. I can tell she has a good relationship with other good agents.
5) Honesty: This is the most important factor that I love about Dorothy. She is very honest that she will go in extra miles to find out if there’s any flaws in the house. There was a house that we are interested in, and she warned us that there is a hidden personal retirement home right across from the house (you can’t tell from the outside). To confirm, she even called the place and pretended that she wanted to send her mother there to get the extra information from the facility (lol!). I feel I can trust her 100% when we are making the final decision. (Sometimes I feel like she is another mother of mine. That’s how much I can trust her).
Although Dorothy doesn’t play sneaky tricks like some «aggressive» agents, she is very professional and gets her job done nicely. We were able to buy our dream house in the super competitive Palo Alto market (going against some of the toughest agents in the area, too!) and we are very thankful for Dorothy’s help! She gave us many great advice to win the bidding war without playing the dirty game.
Oh and one more thing to add at the end.
6) After-​Care servies: Even now that we already closed and got the house, Dorothy is still there for us, helps us answering all kinds of questions related to our house /​giving us referrals /​etc.
I am very happy with Dorothy’s services, so I want to recommend her to everyone. :)

Dorothy Liu helped us with our first home in Sunnyvale. Throughout the search of our home, Dorothy has been proactive and professional. She showed us market analysis and reasonable comparisons. We really like the way that she made numbers talk, which greatly helped us make decisions. When we were in contract, her dedication and excellent communication skills made all the process smooth. It seems that she is tireless, as she is always reachable and can respond timely even in evening or early morning. Most importantly, after the contract was closed, she continues to provide us with excellent service and helps us with her knowledge, experience and any information for our needs. She is resourceful, savvy and thoughtful for every detail for her clients. We can feel her spirit of «I serve» and appreciate that. She is going far beyond our expectation. We highly recommend her for your real estate needs.

Dorothy provided excellent information regarding local real estate market condition and valuation for comparable properties. She was extremely knowledgeable and attentive to my needs. She was a tireless negotiator with great attention to detail. I could not have purchased a house so smoothly in such a competitive market without her amazing expertise and effort.

Dorothy went the extra mile (s) for us on many occasions, but when we picked the property we loved and really REALLY wanted, that’s when she really kicked things into high gear. Short of picking the house, she did everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING. Dorothy got us the home we wanted AND the price we wanted, and helped us negotiate great sale terms. If it weren’t for Dorothy, we’d be living somewhere else.
