Great food, amazing beer, best atmosphere. Always great service. The employees are always friendly and will make sure you have the best experience.

Pleasantly surprised by this pub. The drafts are reasonably priced and there’s a nice selection of IPAs… not easy to find in LA. The bison burger was really good. The prices on food are relatively high, but I think this is the result of the high cost of doing business in LA. Lots of TVs to watch sports and the frosted bar to keep your drinks cold is a nice touch. I wish the wings were a little better. Not really a classic buffalo wing flavor. Overall, it’s good and a solid bet. I will return… especially because it’s the only sports bar in LA. Meets a need in LA.

Los Alamos doesn’t have many dining options, but apparently this is one of the better ones, so this is where my colleagues and I opted to go after a long day of work. There were 5 of us and we were seated immediately but my local colleagues warned me that the service is slow, which was fine since we weren’t in a rush. They have several beers on tap and some local NM brews, so of course I opted for that. The menu consists of normal bar food and I opted for the wings and truffle fries. The warning of my colleagues proved to be true because after we ordered it probably took 30 minutes or so for our food to come out and we had to flag down our server to get refills on water and he never even asked if we wanted another round. The food was pretty good and the place was crowded which lets me know that this is one of the more popular spots in Los Alamos. I’d go back again, just as long as I’m not in a rush to get somewhere.

They have a pretty good selection of food and beer as well. I come here pretty often, especially for Monday night trivia! The food is slightly on the pricey side relative to food portions. The truffle fries are really good and I like the make-your-own-burger option.

Drove here for the day. Thought it would be a great place, it was not as good as I thought. Food took way to long, and there were not a lot of people. Food was good when it finally came. Waiters could of had a better personality, asked questions of what to do in Las Alamos, she had not idea. OMG she lives here. Kept asking for the ticket as if we would run away and not pay. Clean more, please if someone from pajarito reads this clean more. Tables sat dirty for what seemed like an eternity, that was bad. Seats are wobbly and the restrooms.

Not a lot of choices in Los for a burger and beer especially on a Sunday. I like the atmosphere here and always ask for a booth or outside of warm. If only the outside seating was a bigger area not off a Main Street but that’s another story. Beer, burger, truffle fries and hot wings were good. I’ve had other items from here including dessert and I’ll stick to the above. Service could be faster and friendlier but it depends who you get.

We were in Los Alamos visiting family and had dinner at Pajaritos. I had the Laboratory burger and wasn’t super crazy about it. It was just okay but we had a big party and I sampled many other items which were all very delicious. The drinks were great! The service was super friendly and she took the time to answer questions we had about the area and tell us how to hike to some exclusive waterfalls in the area. Thank you for the great visit we will stop in again next time we are in town.

I give it 3 stars for the beer selection, but«M’eh» for the food. But hey — it’s Los Alamos. Sometimes you just don’t feel like driving into Santa Fe for dinner…

My husband and I decided to eat some dinner after skiing all day, we thought the prices looked reasonable 14 bucks for burger and fries; but we received the littlest sandwiches and was still hungry after… First of all the food took forever to get out(about 45 mins) My food tasted great(philly cheesteak with, peppers on ciabatta) but my husband said his bison burger was one of the worst that he has ever had, he said it was dry and had no flavor and was almost chewy. After we finished we was really disappointed with how much we paid to be left hungry for more. We even thought about eating at China palace after. So if you ever eat here have a heavy wallet and order a lot of food. I will not be returning.

Great place for the whole family. I stopped in after skiing yesterday to have a beer and appetizer(wings) before my trip back home and was really impressed with the ambiance and menu. They even have a seafood Poboy. The wings are excellent. I love this place and highly recommend stopping in next time you are out — lunch or dinner. Relaxed atmosphere with TVs but a clean new décor(mostly wood). Bön appetite!

The food is good, and the bartenders rock. Give Kyle one liquor, and he’ll make you a miracle.

The food is reasonably priced, well portioned and the beer selection is very good. The service was good for food, however when asked if we could have a TV swapped for the following day’s NFL matchups, no one was able to help us. Otherwise, this place is all anyone would want from a sports bar — tasty food, tasty beer, lots of TVs. Definitely top notch for Los Alamos.

Four of us went here on the recommendation of the hotel we were staying at in Los Alamos. It is a newer place in a strip mall and is very clean looking. We went on a Saturday around 4:30 and it wasn’t crowded. In fact, very few people were there. The food we ordered was average and rather bland except for my husband’s meal, which was fish n chips. He said it was excellent. In hindsight, I wish the rest of us would have ordered that. Three of us ordered the local Oktoberfest beer which was tasteless and had absolutely no spice to it. I then ordered a Guiness knowing I would like that — -wrong! It was not good at all. Obviously, this place has an issue with their taps and don’t seem to care. One in the party ordered the root beer on the menu and was informed they were out of it. Also, there is an almond carrot cake on the menu which sounded really good. However, we were told they have not had this dessert in at least three months. Why is it still on the menu? Since we are not from this area I have no idea how long this place has been in business, but they definitely need to make improvements. I’m not sure why the hotel would recommend it as I certainly wouldn’t.

Something is… missing here. I’ve eaten here several times this summer. The beer is fine, even with the hokey ice slot on the bar to keep your beer glass cold. The food… I dunno, lacks flavor. It’s not from a lack of salt, just misses some. But, it’s Los Alamos, nice to have another restaurant in town.

Had chicken fried steak. Mashed were good. CFS was thin enough to read a paper through! NOMEAT! 1⁄16th of an inch and the breading was thicker! Gravy should have been white gravy but they used a glutenous«fake» gravy that was horrible! Sliced squash was great! Other person had mac and cheeze which was palatible. Prices about 30% higher than comparable places. Don’t waste your time. Find a burger king

Go to the grocery store, pickup a six pack and some fried chicken. It’ll be better and cheaper than this place.

Like too many restaurants in Los Alamos, the owners aren’t paying attention and the restaurant has gone down hill. The soups were never good and they’ve never been able to get a beer to the table in under 5 minutes. It’s 50⁄50 if the tap water tastes okay or like bleach. But now it’s worse. They can’t mix drinks(didn’t chill a martini, for example), the nachos come out soggy in a big pool of grease. The fettuccini is a in a soup of Alfredo and they have 20 – 30 beers on tap with no posted prices(and the prices are all different and the wait staff don’t know how much they are. Options are few in LA, so they’ll limp along for a few more years. But at some point they won’t be able to pay the bills and they’ll blame a failed business on construction or a new competitor or the landlord when really, they’re just clueless about running a restaurant or stopped trying. What a shame…

I was very excited to find a brew pub in Los Alamos. However, they need a little work on making this a good restaurant. Pretty good selection of beer on tap and a menu that looked very good. I ordered a Bosque IPA, truffle fries as an appetizer, and a «build your own burger»(bison with blue cheese). The fries were served pretty cold and unappetizing. They tasted ok but nothing like truffle fries I’ve had elsewhere. The burger was also served in a pretty unappetizing manner, squashed down in a thin bun. It tasted alright, but definitely nothing I’d order again. The service left a bit to be desired– the waiter may just have been new as he seemed a bit unsure of himself. Also, the water they brought us when we arrived tasted really bad– like there was cleaner or chemicals in it.

Day trip to see the Manhattan Project museum. «Yelped»(it’s a verb for us) and found this place. Happy with both beer and lunch which was a shrimp po’boy for him and chicken wings for me. The menu was varied and beer selections great. Nice find!

Given the reputation of most restaurants in Los Alamos, I did not have high expectations for Pajarito Brewpub and Grill. I am happy to say that I was pleasantly surprised. Inside, the décor and vibe of the restaurant is much nicer than one would guess from the outside. There were plenty of people there both times I went I went(around 12pm and 6pm), and the atmosphere was lively. The first time I visited I ordered the Green Chili Philly Cheesesteak, which was $ 12. It was a fantastic, with jalapeño strips and green chili that made combined for a flavor explosion of spicy, cheesy beef! There were also fries included, which were pretty good. Pajarito gets a 4 star rating however, because of the price. Although the food was great, the portion sizes were quite small. For $ 12 I expect to leave feeling full, but I was still kind of hungry walking out the door. The second time I visited I built my own burger with fries, which consisted of a beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and green chile for $ 14. The burger patty was quite thick and tasty, but a little dry considering I ordered it medium well. It was really good, but for $ 14 it didn’t quite meet my expectations. If you work at LANL and can’t find anything to spend your money on in this ghost town, Pajarito wouldn’t be a bad place to start.
