My 9 year old son attend a baseball clinic that was put on by XCEL. JJ & Casey were GREAT! They knew how to walk that fine line between making sure the kids had fun, and getting them to work hard, so they could learn as much as possible. Everything they talked about was positive, and they used the word «Hustle» a lot. This was our first encounter with anyone from XCEL, and I will definitely be taking my son to their facility. Thanks guys…

I honestly have mixed feelings about this place.
Don’t take me wrong, it’s a nice place, full of nice people, but don’t come at the «wrong time». How do you know when the wrong time is? You don’t! Well, unless you call a few minutes before going, ask if they have more than 1 – 2 practices going on or if any cages are rented by groups/​teams.
The people are very nice, but lessons, including a great kids workout by Keagan which is great, but pretty pricey! Private lessons are too bad, considering they’re one-​on-​one, and don’t forget the old saying; «you get what you pay for».
So why did I mark it down a star, besides I’m unsure 3.5−4, is management of the cage space/​times and the unfairness that happens. Money becomes a priority to then. So they will make a player who pays a monthly fee wait or come back, that really hurt. My player was asked to come another time mid-​workout because they had a team rental! What they needed to do is set up at least 1 cage to allow the players that pay monthly take turns, I have no problem with my child learning to wait, but being sent away out a foul taste in my mouth.

Best batting cages around… indoor, seating area for parents, tv’s, pitching available…:and the machines throw real baseballs… best batting cages I’ve ever been to

JJ Newkirk has worked with both my girls on their hitting and I would highly recommend him to anyone and often do.
The environment at Xcel is really comfortable and inviting. Plenty of seating in both the initial entry way and inside the warehouse as well and for some extra entertainment there are numerous flat screens TVs.
They have a front office manager which is nice because this helps everything run very smoothly.
It was a NO brainer to give this training facility 5 stars!!! No better place around!!!

This place is great! When it’s cold, windy or raining you can come here to train without the elements! Highly recommend these people to train you or your kids to advance in baseball.

Great cages. I was able to drop buy on a rainy day when practice was canceled. Very friendly.
