Well its 7:36 and not busy wich is good for me because i work across the building the staff greated me with a smile check me in quickly and efficiently my phlebotomist was Kurt very professional and pleasant man got me in and out within 10 minutes… gotta love a Lab that doesn’t have a long line waiting

Ghetto and unorganized. I stopped coming to this place for that very reason. The only reason I’m here today is because my mom is in the hospital across the street. Never Again

Ghetto. Ghetto. Ghetto… I. Can’t. Even. Really, people? Can’t provide a few extra seats for the patients? Dirty-​ass facility. Walk in to have blood drawn, walk out with a new medical condition, I’m thinking.

I had some tests done here but only one very friendly asian lady the other woman made me feel like I was bothering her by coming in for Dr ordered blood tests

Never coming to this location if I ever have to take blood out. The workers dont want to help anyone. They are not friendly as other people said.

One gigantic cluster f**k. No one here try’s to help anyone and it’s ridicules how long the wait is. My advice is get a receptionist or someone to direct traffic because it’s just horrible how this business is run.

I’ve been to several labs in this very building but my wife needed a tb test for her work. As others have stated, the check in process is not very clear but I have never felt more grossed out by a facility. There was a bloody bandaid on the waiting room seat and the one tech was walking from the back to the reception area while working on individuals. In the end it turned out that they don’t even do tb tests at this location. This is the reason Ebola will be an issue in this country.

Nice clean lab covered by medical insurance. Walked in wrote down my name on a sheet, and lab tech came out immediately. Fast in and out… the veins were asleep-​SO I GOT POKED TWICE.

I got there right at 8:10 so that I wouldn’t have to wait long, there was no one at reception– Just a clipboard and a technician had to tell me to go into the little office to sign in because he noticed there wasn’t anyone in there to help me. Then when the receptionist rolled in at around at 8:30, then the line started moving fast. Bad office assistance, however the lab techs were awesome. By the way, it’s inside a multi-​story building that smells like dirty armpits and you have to pay for parking if you want to park on their lot. Try parking on the street, free 2-​hr parking!

I went to this location because the mom-​n-​ator needed to take some blood test and she wasn’t feeling well so I took her so she didn’t have to drive herself!
This place is located right across the street from the Los Alamitos hospital. The mom-n-ator’s doctors are all in Torrance so it is GREAT she doesn’t have to go so far for a blood test and she has to take them all the time. She comes here and they will send in the paperwork and test to her doctors.
Parking is a bit of a nightmare since there are more doctor offices in this building as well. But when we got there they had 4 HANDY-​DANDY spots open which was SOOO GREAT! Gotta love when you go ANYWHERE and you find a close parking spot and you find it quickly!
The mom-​n-​ator also comes here because… sad to say she has SNEAKY VEINS and she passed that on to me! They run and hind when they see the needle or roll out of sight making it a painful experience to have blood drawn by a person that has no FRICKIN IDEA what the H*LL they are doing! I’M NOT A FRICKIN PIN CUSHION! Shouldn’t you have perfected this little talent while in school BEFORE you applied for a job of phlebotomist where you have to do it all day everyday!
This place has NOT 1 but 2 PEOPLE that can take a blood test without leaving BRUISES up and down the mom-n-ator’s arms. Or better yet they don’t STICK her 3 of 4 times having to use different arms, veins, hands, wrist, and needles to get the job done! It’s REALLY refreshing!
I’m terrified of needles because I had the unfortunate experience in the past of being STABBED to near death by some Yo-​Yo who didn’t know what the H*LL they were doing! I become light headed at the thought of having it done, and have been known to cry like a baby, turn blue from holding my breath, etc. I’ve been left with month long bruises the size of plums due to inept people! But the mom-​n-​ator NEVA EVA has a problem here!
The staff is ALWAYS FRIENDLY, KIND, HELPFUL and gives SERVICE with a smile! I can’t say the same with all health care professionals! Why someone would take a job where they are interacting with the public all day everyday and that same public is most likely NOT feeling well! NO ONE needs to be giving a hard time when they don’t feel well!
The ONLY people that go to the doctor or have blood test when they feel perfectly well fall into two categories.1. Checkup People who want to make sure everything is still in working order (usually the annual visit) or 2. Hypochondriacs who make up S*IT that is wrong to get attention! Most people are there because they are trying GET BETTER or prevent FEELING BAD! So it’s SUPER REFRESHING when the mom-​n-​ator comes here and they DO THIER JON AND DO IT WELL!
The place is a bit run down but the building has probably been there since Chester was a pup thus could use some updating and remodeling! Management should really get on it! And I have to say there is a bit of an elderly person, hospital, sick smell that stood out to me in the hallways! Wasn’t too jazzed about that either! But again a problem building management needs to address it is not for the TENANTS to attend to!

Good place to have blood drawn, drug screen collection, Paternity collection, etc… Staff friendly, courteous and professional, clean place, fast service. Strongly encouraged everyone to have any blood drawn or any other services done.

Never had a problem with the actual blood draw here, but the process blows. The check-​in process is awkward and unclear. Then there is a long wait and confusion on where to go next. People end up waiting a long time for no reason just because they weren’t told to go into the next room for their blood draw.
I waited for 40 minutes before checking with them since I was skipped over. They just completely missed my name on the list with no apology. I’d say it’s a one time mistake if I didn’t see this happen to a guy before me while I was waiting.

If you don’t walk in for a urine test already doing the pee pee dance in order to prevent an accident, prepare to wait even if no one else is ahead of you.
My job requires us to take a urine drug test every 6 months. I go to the locations that are most convenient with my schedule that day. I haven’t had a problem with this location being busy which is a huge plus in my book. However, they tell you that they need much more urine than they actually need and make you wait because you need «a lot». When you give them the amount they claim they need they dump half of it out. The tech was also rude to another patient who misunderstood the directions he was given.

My doctor sent me to LabCorb for some blood work.
I came when they opened and the office was already full. Sign in sheet is in the office and the lady back there was calling us in and checking our info and insurance cards. There was one guy taking our blood too.
15 minutes in and out. I could see how this place could get busy later in the day.

Make sure to set up an appointment! This place can get ridiculously busy on a Saturday if you don’t have an appointment. I came in one Saturday and there were virtually no line, but I came in another Saturday and the place had people waiting outside the office. I was able to bypass the wait time, which I almost felt bad about and was in and out in about 15 – 20 minutes. The staff here was very patient and nice. They make the entire process quick, easy and pain-​free… well, almost pain-​free if you’re not counting the needle. =P
[TIP] Free 2-​hour parking on the street; paid parking if you use their lot.

I have to warn you the parking associated to the medical building isn’t free. If you want free parking, you have to try really hard for street parking. Super HARD!
Beyond the parking woes, this facility is fantastic because it isn’t busy and it is open on Saturdays. Plus they are not under staffed and the wait is usually no more than 10 mins. The La Palma location is at least 45 mins to 1.5 hr wait.

This is the third different location I have been to and easily the best so far.
I was blown away by the courtesy and friendliness of the guys that work here — prompt, considerate, and very efficient. A++++
Even though this is definitely not the closest location to my house, if I have to get blood drawn again (while I am pregnant), I will be coming here FOR SURE.
