My first time here so I did not know what to expect. The parking lot was full, so I thought that was a good thing. When I walked in, there were a lot of people waiting for their food to go, and we had to wait for about 10 minutes, which was not bad because I was hungry. I noticed a lot of neon signs for different sections of the restaurant, for example the salad bar section had its own neon sign. Walking to our table, I noticed that they really need to change the carpet. The pattern in the carpet reminds you of something from the early 80’s which is probably when they bought the carpet. Once seated, we ordered drinks, which came pretty quickly. The food server also brought over a plate of pickles(which were simply delicious). I ordered the fish and a baked potato, which was pretty good. There was nothing special about my meal, and if I do go there again, I will probably get something different. I did notice that a lot of people ordered a pastrami sandwich, which looked like a lot of food.

I grew up in Los Alamitos, and this particular location has been owned by many different people and called many different names. It’s recently changed its name to something else, although I admittedly don’t remember the NEW name. However, when it was Katella Garden, it was decent. Not good, but not bad either. The food here is primarily fried, and I promise you your stomach will be very angry that you ate here. I don’t mean this as hyperbole; you will be on the toilet without a doubt. The original location was called Mr. T’s(or something like that, which was then gutted and turned into a Paul’s Place. Back then, the quality of food was fantastic. For whatever reason, Paul sold the joint and since then it hasn’t been the same. The most recent incarnation proclaims it’s «Under New Ownership,» which could mean good things. I recommend trying this place at least once, if only so you know to avoid it.

Just ate here for lunch as i do from time to time… by the way, they just changed ownership and i think they changed their name to something different but it is basically the same as before with a few more lunch specials. listen, this isn’t a place that i would like go out of my way to eat at… its merely the local«shredded lettuce» style burger place… its a slightly above average greasy spoon style burger joint… they do have some pretty good gyros and broasted chicken… but again, not like blow you fucking mind good… free refills on sodas… friendly service… reasonable prices… outdoor seating in addition to the indoor seating which is cool… i basically eat here due to the extreme close proximity to my work…

No frills, little burger joint. Came here on a Friday for lunch with my friend and she suggested it and said she loves their fries. I said fine by me, love the french fried taters myself. I decided to get a Chicken Gyro and an order of fried zucchini, friend got a avocado burger with fries. My gyro was excellent, the chicken was super flavorful and the tzatziki sauce was really tastey. It was more of a runny consistency but it had more flavor than other tzatziki sauces I’ve had in the past. The pita it was in was nice and soft, it was just right. I wasn’t expecting much since I wasn’t at a greek establishment but hey they know gyros. And the zucchini was great. Nice crispy panko crumbs with some herbs and some grated parmesan on top. It was a huge plate of it, I thought it was going to be a small side, but it was like a meal of fried zucchini but no problem, I took most of it home for the hubby. I tried my friends’ fries and they were typical burger joint fries, but it had a nice thin skin(fried lightly as opposed to overcooked and hard and crispy) so they seemed to melt in your mouth a bit and their ranch is really good, you can tell they make it from scratch and they keep it nice and cold in the fridge. Overall, this place is like a Paul’s Place in fact it used to be a Paul’s Place I was told so if you like that place, you’ll like this place.

Diner food to the max. This is a great place to go when you’re hungry for some grease. If you’re taking out, the wait isn’t too long, but why don’t you sit in a comfy booth and enjoy yourself? You have a great view of… the parking lot. Hey, this isn’t a 5 star gourmet restaurant. Their pancakes here are pretty tasty.

The staff here is friendly. If you’re a regular, like me only because my boss likes his chicken from here, they like to engage in conversations when they’re not busy and they know your order for you whenever you go in. Their burgers is good and the size is big. I love their fries. They have this seasoning they sprinkle on it and it just tastes extra good. Everything is good on their menu. One thing to avoid though, are their chicken bowls because they tend to drench the bowl with terriyaki sauce, so make sure you ask them no add light terriyaki or just on the side so you can add it yourself.

Great for breakfast and lunch. There food is not greasy, an cooked to order. My DH orders Denver omelets made with three egg whites and one egg yolk — done. It’s good, healthy, cheap, and cheap. I get the breakfast tacos. YUMO. egg, potatoes, cheese and sausage in two warm corn tortillas. Other must haves, are the ranch dressing. Don’t care what you eat it with, just have some.

The burgers here are decent, fried mushrooms are tasty, and the broasted chicken specials smell delicious. The Greek Salad is what keeps me coming back. Good stuff with plenty of feta cheese and red onions. It’s located on Katella almost across the street from the race track.
