With knowledge in the intricate anatomy of the arm and hand, our Occupational and Physical Therapists also have advanced training in dealing with the technical complexities of the often delicate microscopic surgeries performed on injured hands and upper limbs. Established in 1984.

Established in 1984, Shattuck Rehabilitation Services, began doing business as Healing Hands Therapy and Wellness Center at the beginning of 2004. Healing Hands Therapy was opened to meet a growing demand for specialized hand and upper extremity rehabilitation.

Meet the Business Owner

Jeanette S.

Business Owner

Jeanette Shattuck earned her degree in Occupational Therapy

from Loma Linda University in 1976 and after several years of gaining valuable experience in Acute and Outpatient rehabilitation as well as Home Health care, became the director of OT at Los Alamitos Medical Center. In her 20 years as OT director, one of the many things she accomplished was to establish both In and Out patient Hand and Upper extremity Rehabilitation Therapy services which were enjoyed for many years by both the clients that were treated as well as the physicians who sent them. Jeanette holds her advanced practice certificate in Hand Therapy and PAMs. Her integrity as a therapist is only surpassed by her love for people. Jeanette has advocated for patient’s rights in in-​patient, outpatient, and skilled nursing facilities and at our Capitol in Sacramento and is currently on the Board of Director’s for Project Dignity, a non-​profit organization that serves the homeless with dignity, humility & love.
