Wow! I’ve been living in Los Alamitos for nearly 10 years and I just discovered this place. Called in a phone order at just after 6am on a Saturday morning. Ordered up a couple egg, cheese & bacon bagels on onion buns… and a couple fraps. They said it would be ready for pickup in about 15 minutes. Great! Just enough time for me to drive to the gas station, fill up and pick up breakfast. When I got to the café, there was a crowd of people — even this early. Really glad that I called ahead, as I was out of there in about three minutes, while many other people were still waiting. The bagels were fresh, very hot and contained high quality ingredients. Perfect! The fraps were excellent as well. If you want your order«to go» — I highly suggest you call ahead. Highly recommended!

This is a whole in the wall spot, but it’s my favorite place for a breakfast bagel. It comes with egg, cheese, and bacon on your choice of freshly baked bagels that are some of the best quality bagels I’ve had. I usually choose the everything bagel. They make it right in front of you and the bagel artists are fast and good at what they do! Their breakfast bagel combo is a steal. It comes with the sandwich and your choice of coffee or orange juice. Let me tell you… their orange juice is a necessity. It’s freshly squeezed every single day and served in a 16 oz plastic cup. They are all displayed in their beverage fridge by the cash register, so you can just grab one while you’re paying.

Still great bagels make sure if you order a plain or sweet one that it’s not toasted so close to a garlic one really messes up flavors. no outside table for dogs no more.

Amazing bagels!!! They also had day old bagels available. Only $ 2 for a whole bag and they still tasted great! Will definitely come back soon :)

Been coming here for years! Best bagels ever and their hot chocolate is good too. Breakfast bagels are amazing if you’re in the mood for egg and bacon or a cinnamon sugar bagel is good for something on the sweet side. Enjoy!

Best bagels ever!!! I have had many bagels from many other places and without a doubt these are the best. These have a soft but crusty outside and a soft chewy inside. They have a wide variety(at least 15) to please anybody. My favorites are everything, plain, sourdough, tomato basil, garlic, onion, rye, and jalapeño. Oh yeah really all of them. If I happen to get a bagel that is still warm, it doesn’t make it out of the parking lot. The girls over the years have always been very friendly and helpful. If you have time, stop and have one if their sandwiches. Those are delicious as well. And whatever you do, don’t forget the cream cheese. What is a bagel without the cream cheese. .

Love, love, love their bagels! My absolute favorite splurge is to get a toasted everything bagel with cream cheese! It’s like a little slice of heaven! This is the only bagel shop worth going to with 20 miles! No one else makes a good New York style bagel worth its salt, literally! Bön appetite!

Hidden gem! Their bagels are seeded on BOTH top and bottom(wish more places did that). The everything and sesame bagels are great, but if you like poppy seeds – theirs is perfect! I’m talking a thick blanket of poppy seeds on both ends. Definitely get the veggie cream cheese. Best I have ever had. Then, wash it all down with a cup of their raspberry chocolate flavored coffee, and you won’t be able to stop coming back again and again and again. Owner is a lovely lady too.

What a cute little bagel shop! My sis and I drove alllllll the way down from Newport to get my mom Katella Deli’s infamous chicken noodle soup, but I was soooooooo hungry. I need food no later than 9am unless I’m dead sleep! My sister was in a bagel mood and I told her I know just the place. I never been here before but I would pass it almost every day on the way to work. Finally I had the time to do so. So we drove into this little shopping center and parked right up front. Beware of this parking lot, its a little tight and double check when backing in or out! So sis and I walk in and check out the menu and I already knew what she was getting LOL. She orders a toasted buttered blueberry bagel with blueberry schmear. That day I ordered the breakfast bagel sandwich, on a jalapeño bagel. Service was great by the way! We took a seat and waited and food came out in a reasonable time. Grabbed some hot sauce and started to chow down. The bagels are nicely assembled, no slipping and sliding of ingredients falling out my bagel. I hate that lol My bagel was neatly prepared. This bagel wasn’t mouthgasmic BUT it was very solid. The bacon was your standard bacon and not thick cut. Most bagel places do this, probably keeps food cost low. I still think investing in thick cut is the way to go since bacon is every where! Again a solid bagel but I’d order the bagel and lox next time since I saw that food porn on IG and I need to get one of those next time! My sister enjoyed her bagel VERY much! That was more important than enjoying mine. Next time we’re in the area and have a bagel craving, this will be our stop!

Love this place! The sun-dried tomato bagel is delicious! I like to add tomato and cheddar and have it toasted. Pair that with fresh orange juice and you’re in for a great day!

Carbs on Carbs on Carbs! ^___^ Lets face it, I love anything with bread! My mom had her gallbladder out and while she was in surgery we headed to Los Alamitos to get her some soup from Katella Deli and needed a snack before we headed back to the hospital, of course Alexis B. can Unilocal at the speed of lightening so when she mentioned she wanted a bagel I knew she could find a spot! This place is so quaint and it wasn’t a CF since we came after the breakfast rush and their was still a variety of bagels to choose from, I love blueberry bagels with butter and blueberry cream cheese it’s my go to bagel! My sister always likes savory bagels so she always opts for a bagel sandwich or loxs. She went for a bagel breakfast sandwich with eggs, cheese and bacon with a side of jalapeño cream cheese. I really loved my bagel and the cream cheese it was so delicious! I felt like the bagels were super fresh and buttery! I loved every bite! Sometimes bagel shops make blueberry bagels taste fake and artificial but this one next to Einsteins were BOMB! We didn’t have any problems with the staff since their seems to be a good amount of reviews talking about customer service all of the girls were nice and hard working, they weren’t just standing around and gossiping like most girls do, they were do their job and made awesome product! If I was in the area I’d definitely come back! ^___^

I’ve been coming to bonjour bagel for years to get my bagel and frosty fix. The Customer service here used to be horrible; however, the last few times I have been I have noticed the employees have been nicer. Bagels to try: cinnamon sugar for sure, sun dried tomato and basil is always great, and you can never go wrong with an everything bagel. Also get a frosty I always go with the plain, but great vanilla

I have pretty much stopped eating bread most days but on weekends I treat myself to some with my breakfast. I have gotten into the hap pit of swinging by Bonjour on Saturday morning and getting an Onion Bagel toasted with some light cream cheese. This satisfies my carb urge for the rest of the week. The bagels here are very fresh and delicious. I read through some other reviews that criticized the service but I have to say that today I decided to reward my team at work with some bagels for breakfast so I stopped in to pick up 3 dozen bagels. There was a bit of a line but the staff seemed to move pretty quickly and I was at the from in less that 5 minutes. I didn’t get the girls name that took care of me but she was extremely polite and she did a fantastic job of putting together my pretty large order. I have to say that I was more than pleased with my experience today and for her service I am giving them a 5 star.

I was in Seal Beach like a fish out of LA water and desperately needed a morning beverage/bite before a conference and my trusty Unilocal app led me on a yellow brick road to Bonjour Bagel Café. The young girl helping me was as friendly as the gatekeeper to Oz before learning Dorothy was Dorothy, she was only needed to place my order so thankfully I could ignore her«I hate my life» attitude for most of the transaction. I landed on the awesome $ 4.60 combo of a bfast bagel and large coffee(or OJ). Sold! Picking the bagel was a little harder of a task since the wall lined behind frowny face was riddled with doughy delights of all different flavors. The bagel bfast sandwich had serious girth and I appreciated the heartiness of the am handheld. I added avocado, which is never a bad decision. Ever. The coffee was not an 8oz or even a 12oz, but a whopping 16oz cup and there were about 5 flavors to choose from which made it even more of a bang for your buck opp than I could have imagined. While definitely not the most delicious of coffees, it did the trick. I don’t know the last time I was treated to such a hefty on-the-go meal for less than $ 5.

Say BONJOUR to the BAGELCAFÉ This is probably the BESTBAGEL place near my house! If there is another one I haven’t ran across it yet or don’t know about it! I started coming here years ago! In the early mornings while on my way to run errands and get them over with on a Saturday! This place gets SUPERPACKED out but they are as quick as they can be with making and ringing up your purchases! You can get all sorts of BAGEL sandwiches here as well which makes having breakfast more fun! Being that I’m NOT a HUGE fan of just eating just BREAD I like the variety and that they are ALWAYSFRESH! This place also opens up at the butt crack of dawn making it easy to swing by before heading to work! They always have day old BAGELS buy the half or whole dozen you can purchase. Even though they are a day old you can bet they are STILL more fresh then the ones in the store that have been sitting there a week on the shelf! Usually the packs are a variety of what was left over the previous day so they are NEVER the same! But you still get a variety. A nice to have if you’re having a bunch of out of towners and don’t want to slave over a stove to cook for them! It’s bad enough they didn’t bother to get a hotel and now they expect you to cook too! REALLY! Buy a bag of bagels, some muffins, oj, coffee, tea, fruit, yogurt and call it a day! If they don’t like that they will either go out to eat, NOT using your car or money, or next time stay at hotel where they get a buffet breakfast included in the price of their stay! LOLOLOLOL! Can you tell I am NOT a fan of the house guest! Like most BAGEL places they will cut your BAGEL open, toast it, add butter, cream cheese or jelly and like I mentioned before you can get a breakfast sandwich! I tend to forget about this place because it is NOT located in my path to work! Meaning it is NOT on the way to the freeway and I would need to go WAYOUT of my way to get a BAGEL which would also mean leaving an additional 20 minutes early to drive there and then to the freeway so I can go to work! Soooo I’ll just keep it to the weekend visits! The service is REALLYGOODHERE! They all work as a well oiled machine to get you in and out! They have a few tables inside and out you can sit at and of course they have their regulars to which they already know what they want which is always a plus! If you into BAGEL this place will hook you up! I’m not sure if they do the thin BAGEL but its worth asking!
