Chicken with string bean is SO good! The beans tasted as if they were plucked from the garden just for me, they were so fresh! The online menu has(spicy) listed before the item. It was not spicy at all, but very tasty. Looks like they should remove that(spicy) label. So even though I didn’t get the spice I was looking for, I was blessed with a healthy delicious meal that was served up quickly. I therefore give it a 5 star rating.

This place isn’t bad, some of the dishes are innovative. Had the asparagus beef and was disappointed to find they’d thrown in the tough ends of the asparagus, which are like chewing on wood. That’s kind of a cheap move. A good cook wouldn’t usually do something like that.

Don’t waste your time or money on this place. Poor quality food. I’ve found both metal shavings and big wooden pieces in my food before. Wegman’s chinese food is way better and thats not saying much.

This place is great! I think it’s the best Chinese place in Lorton! Whenever I go I always order the spring roll! I typically order for my family and get hot and spicy beef, crab Rangoon, Egg drop soup, shrimp in garlic sauce, and of course a spring roll. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

Had the General Tso chicken. I really enjoy this dish but I’ve tried it here a couple of times and it’s been less than edible. Chicken is nonexistent. Mainly I bit into the breading. Also it was gummy. Almost too glutinous. Other foods like the chicken fried rice is… meh at best. This saddens me. I can’t put myself through that again.

General Tsos and orange chicken were mostly bread and neither had any flavor… could barely tell the difference in the two. The fried rice was done well and had good flavor. The crab ragooons were crispy and tasty.

Found a metal piece of who knows what in my «chicken» Also their general tso«chicken» was disgusting! Heavily breaded watery sauce. The only good thing here are the dumplings. Seriously the reviews don’t lie! Just go to Hunan off of rolling in the Saratoga shopping center,

Something has changed. Used to be a solid choice for good food and quick delivery. Last two times we called, it took 90 minutes and, well, we are still waiting after 45 minutes. If I call for food at 8 pm, I am not hoping to eat at 10 pm, sorry.

The food at this place is horrible, and extremely low quality. We used to love this place, but the food has gone to the dogs.

Eaten at the restaurant and had delivery. Service is good even when they have a lot of customers. Orders are organized and went to the right customer. I ordered their chicken fried rice and it was just a typical chicken fried rice, nothing extraordinary, but still tasty. I also have ordered their cheese and crab rangoon; and I would have to say that it is one of the best ones I have tasted compared to other Chinese restaurants. I like their shape of it so that I feel like there is more crab and cheese than crispy part, which is what I prefer. Would recommend this restaurant if you want a good and simple Chinese food.

Most of my chicken was bread!!! It didn’t come with vegetables either! It was lunch and I was the only one there… guess I should’ve known better!!! Smh

It has a pretty standard chinese take-out menu, and everything I’ve had off of it so far has been good. Very fast delivery too.

Tonight was our first time trying Hong Kong Café as we’re getting tired of the other Chinese restaurants around. I must say be were more than pleasantly surprised. We ordered a couple of main dishes, hot & sour soup, fried wantons and pork fried rice. Everything was extremely tasty, very, very fresh, and the portions were good sized. Delivery was quick and the food was still piping hot by the time it got here. Overall, we’re very satisfied. We’ll be ordering again … and again!

I’ve only ordered here once and the food was fresh and tasty to me. They were quick about delivering also. I had ordered the General Tso’s chicken with fried rice. Today was my cheat day… worth it.

I did the delivery option. They were on time and really nice but the food was bland. I wouldn’t try it again.

There are 3 options for chinese food in Lorton… this is the second best option. I had the orange chicken and noodles. I thought it was good but the sauce for the orange chicken was rather«lost»…not too much flavor to it. I think the meals are heavily over priced though.

Typical chinese restaurant in a strip mall. The restaurant is small and more of a take out/carry out place versus a place to have a nice meal but the food was good and the people taking orders were attentive. I got the chicken fried dumplings which was a good deal for $ 4.95. Portion was big enough for 2 – 3 people. It was accompanied with a nice soy, vinegar, lightly sweetened sauce. I had the lunch special of shrimp with mixed vegetables. It came with brown sauce. The shrimps were a good size but there were only 5 or 6. It came with lots of vegetables which was great: brocoli, snow peas, mini corn, zuchini, carrots, bamboo shoots and mushrooms. Good deal at $ 5.95 with a can of soda. I would get carry out again and will try more items on the menu.

We’ve tried Chinese from most of the local lorton area. The lo mein is the most flavorful. Chicken steamed dumplings are great. Moo shoo is spot on. Only negative is Hunan chicken sauce is not plentiful and a bit watery. Still waaay better then hunan lorton and beat out ginger beef as well

Ok… my first 1 star rating, Plates were styrofoam, utensils plastic. I don’t make stereotypes, i just see it. There were 5 adults and two kids, and we ordered 2 pupu plates, and 5 entrees and he was convincing us that we didn’t order enough food and we should order more.(guess what we walked out with 5 full plates of takeout boxes because it was too much food). We asked for additional plates, the guy was so aprehensive to give and finally asked specificially how much?! He probably charged us for it. We asked for water and he said, «you should get bottled water, we will give you water from the faucet.» We all know water comes from the faucet, but dude, don’t describe it like that! Don’t get me wrong, i like chinese food, maybe they tried to disguise it by labeling it «Hong Kong“which is supposedly different from traditional chinese food. wth. food was below aveage, don’t expect service while your server stuffs his face w/food on the table next to you, and they will charge you for everything, even the napkins(i’m assuming).

I can overlook a lot of faults, if you give me a lot of food. Hong Kong Café is nothing to shake a stick at. They have good Hot & Sour Soup, and the menu selections are what you would expect. The Broccoli is crisp, most of the time; and you usually don’t have to wait long. They give you a «Titan» sized serving for dinner. That’s cool for me — seeing as the wife and I can both go back for seconds on one bowl of Sesame Chicken. If you need Chicken and Rice in a hurry, get some Hong Kong — you cant go wrong.
