History

Established in 1985.

Renovated sea captain’s home on the harbor. Began bed and breakfast inn and dinner house in 1985. Became «quiet» inn in 1991; dinner no longer available on premises. (Plenty of fine restaurants in the village).

Same owners for all 27 years… Return guests make up about 20% of our clientele.

Business Owner

A people-​person, Mike retired from the golf business to Lopez Island in 1978. Retirement did not suit him so he purchased the old restaurant/​tavern and converted it to a grand location to service guests.

He is the building and grounds maintenance guy, the bicycle and kayak

guide, and a wealth of information.

We were double booked at a different location. Robin was very kind to take us in with last minute notice. And she made us feel very welcome throughout our stay always coming out to say hi whenever we were in the living room. The accomodations at this inn are incredible (wifi, cheap kayaks rentals, bicycles, breakfast, bocchi ball, and much more). Higly recommended.

My husband and I just spent the Labor Day weekend here. It was a return visit to this B&B for us. The owners and hosts, Robin and Mike are so friendly, fun and welcoming. The breakfast each morning is never a disappointment… and this morning when we had to head to a 6:00AM ferry Robin packed us a bagged «breakfast to go». Their location is lovely and so peaceful. We will always remember our times spent there fondly.

Bayside view from the Harbor Suite, short walk to the beach, use of bikes with available kayak rentals, makes for a quiet or outdoor adventure filled weekend. My wife and I celebrated our 10th anniversary and were able to relax and socialize in a warm and welcoming environment. Mike and Robin were wonderful hosts with the right balance of friendly interaction, helpful insider information, and respect for space and quiet. We are headed back to our 3 children now, but look forward to again visiting this beautiful and nostalgic feeling getaway.
