Read, Write & Spell

Stuart and Tesa have a passion and amazing gift to help children with the learning disability dyslexia!!! There whole staff is very well trained and compassionate. A very nurturing environment that produces both academic achievement, but self confidence and the kids really enjoy the time at the school. For us, not understanding that the school diagnosis of «auditory processing» was truly dyslexia until she was in 3^rd grade and then trusting their words «it will click», left us with our daughter reading at sub 1^st grade reading level going in to 6^th grade. She also could not memorize her math multiplication facts and was stuck at testing at 2^nd grade level math. Our daughter was profoundly dyslexic and spent 2 years and one summer wth stuart and Tesa taking reading, writing and math. Barton Reading, Math Links and Step up to Writing Teaching Methodologies are targeted for dyslexic kids and we saw the results! Our daughter is now fully integrated in to her local public school at grade level, utilizing some important accommodations, but thriving and doing excellent in school. When we started with Stuart and Tesa we were exasperated and felt hopeless. I feel meeting Stuart and Tesa was a miracle in many ways and they will forever have a most special place in our daughters heart and in her dad and my heart!

Tessa & Stuart are truly amazing teachers. In one school year they helped our daughter go from below grade level reading/​writing & math, to well above in both. They have not only given our daughter the tools she needs to succeed in school, but they have given her confidence & a renewed love of learning. Not enough room to sing their praises enough here. Great people that are passionate & skilled at helping kids that often fall through the cracks in the system.
