History
Established in 2004.
The Blue Goose Event Center provides an ideal location for private and public functions. Volunteers began renovation in 2002, and improvements continue to fill the space with historic ambience while providing modern amenities. Since opening the Event Center in 2004, hundreds of weddings, fundraisers and other events have been held. Owned and operated by the non-profit South Placer Heritage Foundation, the 10,000 square foot space has a caterer’s kitchen, bar, green room and stage (included in rental, along with tables and chairs). Guests are encouraged to use their favorite caterer, florist, photographers, etc. and to decorate the venue to reflect their personal character and taste. We are very proud of the fact that over $ 10,000,000 has been raised by local non-profits holding fundraisers at the Blue Goose and we offer discounted pricing to 501c (3) organizations holding events Friday or Saturday.
