Was formerly known as Cheers. Just recently bought and transformed in to HoDDies. Great place to come hang out and meet the new owners. This bar is in the process of turning it into the best place to hangout in Longwood.

I was mad when this place changed from my beloved Cheers. Hoddies… who do they think they are? I had to go in just to show my disgust. I walked in and saw how great the place looked. Ok, well the food couldn’t be as good. Nope. No way. Well, I was right… it was better. And, there was more of a selection, too. Ok well the prices of things were definitely higher. Then I got my tab. Hmmm, same prices as before. Ok well the owner is obviously not as nice as the old owner. Except, she was very friendly. I finally gave up. This place is great. A great place to hang out and have fun.

If you like metal bands, they have good shows here and the cover is a mere $ 5.00. The bartenders were nice, the place didn’t smell like a toilet, the bathrooms were clean, there was a decent amount of seating, and big stage. The only thing that stinks is the location out in the middle of wherethehellever.
