I am consistently impressed with the quality of our local public library. Its staff seems to be pushing hard to make its resources as convenient to access as possible. The Library participates in a consortium of libraries that make e-​books available for checkout electronically WITHOUT having to physically visit the library.
All in all, a great library.

This is a great Library. Up to date systems, even a self checkout and an email/​audio book program. The staff is friendly and the environment is relaxed. Nothing like any library I’ve been to in San Diego (unfortunately).

Longview, TX
I’m new in town and decided to check out Longview’s library, because I’m a fairly moderate reader. I was pretty happy with what I found. Their library is pretty up to date as far as libraries go. They have lots of computer stations, not just for looking up books but for using the internet and looking up information. They have a great sized children’s section, places for quiet reading, a self-​check out, and a very good selection of audio books and DVDs as well as general books that are easy to navigate. I was impressed that they also have an email book club, where you can sign up to get chapters of books (even audio books!) sent right to your email to enjoy at your leisure. All in all, a great library and I can’t wait to explore it more.
