History

Established in 2009.

Graticle Design started in early 2009 in Ridgefield, Washington. Not the best time to start a business (with a recession in full) but Graticle has figured out how to stay ahead of the curve and work harder and better than the other guys. Graticle started out with one thing in mind: Clients. We realized that a project is what you’re after but that’s not all. Our clients do not only love what they end up with, but they also receive great care and appreciation throughout and after their project is completed.

I started Graticle just over four years ago in 2009 out of beautiful Ridgefield, Washington. I had just graduated from California State University, Fresno and had a goal of starting a business so I could work for myself. I had built «websites» throughout high school and college. During college I had my first paying client (a previous employer and friend) and realized that I could actually get paid for doing something that I enjoyed.

After graduating college, the first order of business was to email everyone I knew, from past employers, to family, to friends. I was now in business full-​time creating websites.

In the first year, I learned about the amount of «web design companies» there are.
