Dr. Matt Hipke is a board certified Internist who added teenagers to his practice over 19 years ago. Now, he practices Adolescent Medicine and has cared for over 4600 teens… one at a time. He is their primary care physician but has a unique approach to total health and wellness. He also offers Life Skill Visits because students sometimes experience tough life situations. So… he is your teen’s physician, life coach, advisor and advocate… all in one office.

History

Established in 2000.

Dr. Hipke grew up in Tyler! After completing his training, he returned to East Texas to join Internal Medicine Association of Longview. in 1992 He developed a full adult medicine practice. After about 3 years, he extended his training and practice to teenagers. He opened the Adolescent Care Team in 2000 to be one of a few physicians in East Texas practicing Adolescent Medicine. He empowers teens to take good care of themselves and empowers parents to be effective helpers in that process.
