History

Established in 2006.

Vitalizm was started in 2006 to provide classical homeopathy to the Boulder area, and has treated hundreds of happy clients.

I started Vitalizm to help others find a better, more natural way to be healthy. I have a vision of connecting a person with what supports health, while providing treatments that astonishingly transform health.

I began as a classical homeopath. I soon found that my clients need a way to address problems in their spine and joints. I became a Bowen Therapist in 2010 and have since attained the level of Advanced Bowen Therapist.

I have also completed a BSN in Nursing, and will be receiving my RN license early this year. I now offer my clients the benefits of both medical and integrative medical therapies.

Business Owner

Shawna Phillips is a certified, classically trained Homeopathic Practitioner, and an Advanced Bowenwork® Practitioner.

She brings a rare combination of skills and education to her practice that set her apart from other healing practitioners in her field. She holds a degree in Physics from Wellesley College, was trained in Atmospheric Physics at the United States Air Force Academy, and is a certified Yoga instructor. She is working toward a Nurse Practitioner (NP) medical license.

This rich, multi-​layered background has produced a fusion of talents that inform Shawna’s understanding of the body’s healing power and its physical and energetic anatomy.

She treats clients of all ages. She works extensively with back pain, TMJ, and specializes in the treatment of head injury as well as with cognitive, emotional, and physical problems.
