Chris was probably the best DJ that I’ve ever heard at any wedding, so I was lucky he was at mine! From the get go his passion and enthusiasm for what he does was clear. He was willing and able to fulfill al our weird requests for music, including our ceremony choices. We even were able to enter the reception to the Star Wars theme! During dinner he played soft music that had everyone swaying, and as soon as dancing started the room was his! He knew exactly how to read the room, making sure that the music was appropriate for the people dancing (he played lots of swing and oldies when the older generations were dancing, and eased into more contemporary music and the room shifted to the younger crowd). It was perfect and seamless work. He is a joy to work with, and any wedding would be that much better with him.

We can not say enough positive things about our experience with Chris. Chris was recommended to us by another couple friend, who used him for their own wedding. From the envisioning, planning, Skyping and executing, Chris was easy to work with, open to any and all ideas, professional and had a great sense of humor. My husband used to be in the music industry so he had strong opinions about the type of music he wanted and together, we wanted our reception to have a specific feel, which Chris captured perfectly. Chris was able to read the crowd, determine the mood and keep the flow going so that the dance floor was never empty and there were no awkward pauses. We had a total of 5 meetings with Chris and each time we felt more and more comfortable with his style and work ethic, we completely trusted Chris on the day of the wedding and musically, everything went smoothly and without incident.

My husband and I give Chris at Tip Top DJ the highest possible recommendation. He was truly amazing throughout our wedding experience, from start to finish. Chris was professional, reliable and kind throughout the wedding planning process. He met us for over an hour early on in the process (even driving through a snow storm to meet us.) He was extremely responsive to all of our questions and requests in the months leading up to the wedding, even helping us to edit down the songs we wanted to play as part of our dances.
We loved Chris so much that we asked him to DJ our BBQ on the night before the wedding as well. He modified the vibe perfectly to fit the occasion, and even helped us when A/​V problems arose!
The wedding itself was where Chris shone. He made sure that EVERYONE got on the dance floor and enjoyed themselves. We had a long reception and several hours of dancing, so we expected people to leave early — but not with Chris as the DJ! He kept everyone dancing until late in the evening, always reading the room and choosing the right songs to fit the mood and the group on the dance floor. No one wanted to leave at the end of the night! And like I said, we had several people tell us that he was the best DJ they had ever heard.
Chris is not only an amazing and talented DJ, but he is also a great emcee. He doesn’t call attention to himself or come across as cheesy, but he makes sure that the energy level is high and helped seamlessly orchestrate the evening from start to finish with his announcements.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Chris is just an all around great guy and such a pleasure to work with. He’s incredibly kind, very thoughtful, and very passionate about his job, which makes him such much fun to work with. We are so grateful that we found Chris and hope to work with Tip Top again!

Chris is not just a DJ but an artist of music and design, he kept the party going for at least three hours at our wedding and no one wanted to leave the dance floor. Everyone had a fabulous time and he totally understood the vibe we were going for and played EXACTLY what we wanted. Chris is an amazing DJ, and he really went above and beyond what I would expect from any DJ. He is clearly a music-​geek, in the best sense of the term. He loves music, loves people, loves social psychology and reading the crowd, and loves doing his job well.
He met with us for coffee for over an hour the week of our wedding to discuss what kind of vibe we wanted for the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception. He provided great ideas and showed he has really thought about how to keep a crowd happy. He customized versions of songs we wanted (he cut down and slowed down a swing song so my dad could dance to it), and made a version of Happy for us that was the appropriate duration and energy for our grand entrance. He also used up-​lighting in our wedding colors to add drama to our venue after dark. It was perfect.
He was straightforward about pricing and contracts, and there were no hidden fees.
Chris was amazing and he definitely gets credit for the huge success of our wedding, I recommend him highly as the DJ for your special event.

Chris came highly recommended to us by multiple vendors. He was very thorough in his bushiness practice. He sat down with us, and actually got to know us as to better select music that would fit our personalities. His contract and fees were clear and concise and he had excellent communication.
For our wedding he really went above and beyond. He was able to bring sound to our ceremony, cocktail hour and inside the reception hall. He is a talented DJ who feels out the crowd rather then just hitting play on some iPod. At our request he even brought out his turntables and did some live mixing. He also was able to provide uplighting which really made the venue pop. I cant say enough good things about Chris and his team.
