If you want to waste 12 weeks of your time and pull your hair out, I suggest you go here for bike repairs. The following is a timeline of our experience at Small Planet E Vehicles…
We dropped off the bike hoping they could solve the reason for the throttle cutting out on my boyfriend’s electric bike. We were told they would look into it and call us back. The first time I called to check in, they gave me the information for the wrong bike. They didn’t know who I was or which bike was mine. At that point, nothing had been accomplished, and I was told I’d get a phone call with an update.
A few days go by and I call them again. The assessment was done and they said the battery needed replacing, so we agreed to pay for and order a new $ 800 lithium ion battery. 10 weeks went by before the repairs were complete (granted, the battery being on back order wasn’t their fault, but we never got updates). They called and delivered our bike. When my boyfriend took it for a test drive the EXACT same problem we took the bike in for happened again.
Getting a really angry phone call from both me and my boyfriend, they asked to take the bike back and troubleshoot the problem for free. So we gave them another chance, two weeks go by and the only answer they had for us was that they couldn’t repeat the problem we were having. We had to take our bike to another shop to get the repair done. Once the part came into their shop, it took them two hours to do the repair and call us.
I’ve never been so disappointed with an experience as a consumer in my life (and I told the owner so). I will give them an A for effort, but an F for expertise, customer service, and business professionalism. Just because you have a passion for E Vehicles doesn’t mean you should be running a business. They seemed like a really wonderful people, so I hope that our experience was a fluke and I hope the owners learn from this experience.

Tom Wood and his team of professionals take the worry out of the process of buying and owning an eBike. If you’ve never tried one, don’t put it off. I live my Pedego City Commuter, and can’t wait for my next eBike. Maybe European this next time; who knows. There is always something be to check out.

I was looking to get an e-​bike last month and was happy I found this store. I ended up getting the Stromer ST1 and WOW, so fun to ride! So a warning to fellow Unilocalers: do not test ride the Stromer ST1. You will absolutely love it and will end up having to get one. Hehehe.
This store is good for kids too. Tom carries the Strider and my 2 year old son loves riding that thing. I’ve never heard of the balance bikes until we visited this store. I’m glad I got my son this instead of a bike with training wheels.
I know the location of this store may be a concern to some. I live close to Parker, CO and I can say we’ve gone up there about 3 times already. It’s worth the trip. So check it out!

This is the place for electric bikes and scooters. I bought an Ego Kit for my mountain bike and just love it. Tom the owner, staff and service are top notch and I’m grateful that they are in Colorado!

This is the coolest place in all of Colorado for electric bikes! They have a location in Fort Collins as well. Tom, the owner, is very knowledgeble about all type of alternative energy options.
