Business Owner

Dave Gerke, owner of Pristine Carpet Care and Imperial Rug Spa has been cleaning carpets and rugs in the Longmont area since 1977. He started the business as Dave’s Carpet Care just a couple of years out of high school. A new division of his business is Imperial Rug Spa. They clean fine area rugs, in shop, with a hand washed, 12-​step process. They are the only dedicated «rug spa» in Boulder County, and are trained to safely handle even the most valuable oriental rugs that often bleed during a cleaning.

Dave has been an active part of the community through the years. He served for over four years on the founding board of Twin Peaks Charter Academy as they developed the first charter school in Longmont. In addition to being an affiliate member of the Longmont Association of Realtors, Dave is a member of the Longmont Chamber of Commerce. He has been married for over 35 years to his wife, Carol. They served as Boulder County foster parents for 20 years, taking care of many sibling g
