Easy Eats

I’m new to Longmont. I ordered from flavor of India. The food arrived hot within a half an hour.
I’m will be ordering again, I hope they add some more restaurants to their service.

GOT ME. AGAIN!
I unknowingly gave them another shot EXACTLY a year later. As you can see from the date I submitted my first review for Easy Eats, I did sit on it for almost two months after «the incident» before submitting the review to give myself time to cool off & it still was a very blunt write up. But that’s all water under the bridge! Two days ago, on May 22^nd (for EVERY ones reference), I wanted to try my hand at getting Indian food delivered from another local establishment since the first time proved to be disastrous. I was excited to think that my experience with Flavor of India would be better then Everest. I guess I was being optimistic since it was my birthday dinner. Nothing could ruin a night in with the family and having a fresh & yummy Indian fare delivered promptly at my door. Boy was I wrong!
I inaccurately assumed Flavor didn’t outsource their delivery service. I called them directly to place my order. That in itself was a very lovely and easy experience. So we waited and waited some more. I called them back when a full hour++ passed to check the status of my order. The verdict: we’re still waiting for the delivery service to pick up your order. Not only were they nowhere near my house, but they haven’t even picked up my food that was slowly losing it’s integrity with each passing minute it’s been sitting there. I hung up the phone disappointed, went online to check the Easy Eats site to see if Flavor of India was one of their restaurants (and it was), and immediately called back to cancel my order. I can only assume that the person I spoke with at the restaurant was the owner or a manager and he understood why I was cancelling. He apologized and said that he was unable to reach the person that was supposed to pick up my order… etc etc etc. Don’t advertise on your site that food will be delivered within the hour you order it if that cannot be accommodated at all times. An hour is even pushing it when I can get an array of food delivered in 30 to 45 minutes (TOPS) with proper change handy if need be.
I see that there are some good reviews on here but I can’t seem to side with them. I honestly WISH I COULD be a happy and raving customer. There is no reason to give them a bad review if it wasn’t warranted. I wish my food came within the hour I placed my order. I wish the customer service I received the first time was stellar! And I also wish that this didn’t happen to me TWICE with a YEAR cushion to improve from my first experience with them, but that didn’t happen. I will never patronize any of the restaurants they have listed **for delivery service** simply because Easy Eats is the establishment they entrust to deliver their food. I do plan to enjoy those places if and when my belly beckons strictly on a dine-​in and pick-it-up-my-d@mn-self basis.
Fool me once, shame on you! Fool me twice, shame on me! Never again!

I just found out that Easy Eats is available in the Longmont area, so we tried it tonight. We ordered from Antonio’s. The ordering and checkout process on line was easy — the site showed us which restaurants were available and which were closed, and each restaurant’s menu items were preloaded for easy selection. An estimated delivery time was also provided, and our food arrived well before that time.
Delivery fee on a $ 25 order was $ 5 with a $.25 processing fee. Users are able to add tip to the transaction during the checkout process when paying by credit card.
I’ll use this service again and try some new restaurants in the process.

We order from restaurants who deliver with easy eats at least 3 times per month, and have been ordering from them since november 2011 if our account history is accurate. We have never had a bad experience, everything comes within the hour they say it will, though most places come a lot faster than that. Food is always delivered hot and fresh, the drivers are always polite and we have never had issues with them finding our house, like dominos seems to always have, or anything.

We used this service several times this winter. In the past, I would have given a great review. However, after we ordered tonight, they called us and said they couldn’t deliver because they were too busy. What?! They’ve never had an issue delivering to us before, and how can a delivery service be too busy to deliver? It makes absolutely no sense. They’ve lost a customer for good.
