Not worth the money. Nail tech didn’t ask what shape I wanted my nails. My nails were rounded when I went in, the nail tech filed them into square shape. He didnt paint my whole nail, they were empty gaps on the sides of my nails. He seemed to be in a rush and not take his time. The color I chose required more than one coat since it was more sheer. My nails is translucent in certain spots, you also notice the uneven layering. They also did not have a good selection of polishes, a lot of them seemed watered down as well. I go to nail salons cause its hard for me to paint my nails well, with this service I could have done a better job myself, and saved the money. To be fair, some of the nail techs looked like they do their job well and take the time. The guy I had as well as a couple others looked like they didnt care.

Nails of Longboat Key is a waste of time and money. The polish selection is dated and disorganized. The price of a manicure would pricey(though acceptable) if the polish stayed on for longer than two days. The fact that it doesn’t is most likely because it has been watered down to the point of being unusable. The only reason this place gets a third star is because of the excellent eyebrow tweezing.

Opened in the new Bay Isles shopping plaza right next to Publix. Salon has 4 pedicure chairs and 5 manicure stations. Pricing are a little higher that expected($ 17 manicure, $ 32 pedicure) but on Longboat Key there aren’t many options for a nail salon. Employee’s were friendly and overall the salon is very clean, but the selection of OPI and Essie nail polish looks a bit old. Also a great salon for walk-ins, but I’m hesitant to make an appointment in a salon like this where they take so many people last minute it seems like you could be rushed or have to wait even if you have an appointment.
