History
Established in 2008.
Paula Tosonotti founded Cake Fiction in 2008, first in South Orange, then moving to a new cake boutique in Union NJ. In 2014 Cake FIction relocated to a converted historic barn in the heart of Long Valley NJ. We deliver to customers across the Tri-State area.

Business Owner
Paula Tosonotti has been baking cakes since 1995. She began taking private classes in Paris, while completing her Master’s degree at the Sorbonne University. Paula then graduated from the I.A.G. (Argentine Institute for Gastronomy). She trained in several acclaimed restaurants Massey and Restó in Buenos Aires, founded a catering business and also ran a pastry shop. She moved to New York in 2001 and settled in New Jersey, where in 2008 she founded Cake Fiction. Paula has also studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York City
