Placed a seamless order for my kids two hours ago. And when i called the the restaurant after 90 minutes, lady told me that the order is out for delivery. After another 45 minutes, the lady confirmed my order was never sent out. It was their fault and they were rude to me. I would never order from there. Will take my business to either bareburger or burger garage.

Got hungry after our Elite event last night that we decided to look for a place that we could refill our stomach after the pizza and drinks we had in the nearby comedy club. Never thought of how many choices are there in line for us along Vernon Blvd. The first fast food we passed by after turning left from the club was this place… perfect as my stomach was yelling for burger. We had their cheese burger and the California fries. The burger was SUPER oily, no, GREASY, but how they grilled(or fried???) the patty was just how I like it, way better than Burger King. Price is higher comparably but worth the taste. The California fries serving is good for two people(please take note of that). It has onions and cheeses mixed with the potato that made it less crispy. Did not like much, it was too heavy for me too. The place wasn’t bad but not great. It was alright.

I admit I never thought much of Petey’s Burger from the outside. And it’s a block away from Corner Bistro, so I figured this was just a generic burger place. But the food was pretty good! The Cajun fries were very solid — similar to the Five Guys Cajun fries, but less of the spice. The potato sticks are both crisp and soft. I got the melt cheeseburger on toasted bun which looked like the toasted side was on the outside so it gave a good texture. The burger patty is a little bigger than the bun size, and with the melted cheese it got a little messy. But it tasted very good. For a melt, small Cajun fries, and a can of soda, it came out to about 11 dollars. Felt that was just a tad on the pricey side for what you get.

I came here on a random Saturday afternoon at about 2pm and the place was empty, which was perfect. I took my time to look over the menu and settled on the Cheese Burger, which was $ 5.25, and shared an order of California Fries with a friend. By looking at the prices and makeup of the burger in Unilocal pictures, the burger looked eerily similar to what In-N-Out burgers looked like, but unfortunately taste like an In-N-Out burger. The Cheese Burger was a decent size and big enough for my liking. The cheese was melted perfectly all over the burger too. However, flavor-wise the burger was just OK. Nothing about the burger blew me away. It wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t great. It was just an average burger to me. As for the California Fries, ordering that was probably a mistake because by looking at the photos, the Fresh Cut Fries looked so much better. I prefer my fries to look like freshly cut potato fries, but the California Fries were overly drenched in cheese and onions to point it softened up the fries too much. The fries were way too moist and basically had no life to them. I prefer fries like Wendy’s, but these fries were like RanchOne’s where it’s usually all softened up by the heat and oil. I also noticed Petey’s was listed on Thrillist’s NYC Best Burger list, but in my opinion, Petey’s serves an average burger and sub-par California Fries for an above average price. I haven’t given up on them yet since I haven’t tried the Fresh Cut Fries, but it wasn’t a good start.

good… but I wish the wings were at least a dollar cheaper, I would definitely buy them more often.

It’s a nice place. There burgers are good. I had the Cajun fries as well, which were okay.

This is a decent place to get your burger fix. The patties are thin, similar to In-N-Out, but the similarities end there. Given the prices, I’d rather go to Shake Shack or Five Guys, but because of the burger joints along Vernon, Petey’s and Bareburger are your best probably your best, and only, bets in Hunters Point. One of the upsides is Petey’s delivers to the surrounding area and orders usually arrive fairly quickly. Overall, it’s a convenient and standard burger place if you’re in the area. Not much to praise, not much to criticize.

When absolutely craving a burger in LIC we are lucky enough to have some pretty dam good establishments. Corner Bistro, Bare Burger to name a few. As far as fast food style high quality burgers, Petey’s rivals the best of em. In Austin there is a wonderful place called P. Terry’s and this is as close to its magnificence that I have found. As good as the burger is, don’t waste your time on the fries. Especially the californian fries which is essentially animal style fries but not done as well as In n Out It has cured hangovers, shitty nights, and hungry weekends. Highly recommend.

This place has a California influence similar to in-and-out. Fries are decently compared to animal style fries. If you love spicy food, they have a number of Cajun options that are very good. Would recommend to anyone!

Only bought a cheeseburger with lettuce and tomato because I was feeling a little hungry, and damn it was good! The ingredients were fresh, the place itself is clean; what more can you ask? It is not the best burger in the world, but it definitely hit the spot! My only request is that the burger contained a little more meat. The patty was on the thin side.

CAJUNFRIES! This is like a rip-off of In-N-Out — but I’m not complaining cos we have no INO in NYC, and this is one of the few good burger places in LIC(too many acronyms for you?) Delicious burger — classic greasy, juicy, delicious fare — and LOVED the seasoned cajun fries. The place looks pretty dive-y but come here when you crave INO and you get lost in Queens.

So. I’m not normally a fan of veggie burgers(Shake Shack’s portobello burger was kind of disappointing), but after a long day of walking around LIC, we wanted food. I Unilocaled food and we picked a Thai place. And yet. We passed by Petey’s Burger, and it didn’t look too horrible. Actually from the outside, it looked like it was the storefront from a cult movie, but it had decent Unilocal reviews, so in we went. I had the Greek Veggie burger which was compos(t)ed of spinach, mushrooms, scallions, feta cheese, etc. It was really yummy. I had the ranch dressing on the side. The Cajun fries were also really ridiculously good as well. Awe-inspiring, even. Petey’s is good in my book.

For $ 10 for a burger and fries I’m not impressed. I had the Cajun burger combo. Size is about average and it came with a can of soda. The taste was very average. About par with McDonald’s. The staff is courteous and they keep the place clean. Nothing special at all. Not sure if I would return

I stopped by to get a burger with fries and it was really good. the only problem with this place is the counter person, answering the phone and taking the orders. he is glued to his personal phone the whole time.

I fancied a McDonald’s & this was the closest I could get to it in LIC! I was really impressed with the burgers, my husband and I got a double cheeseburger each, a portion of sweet potato fries & a portion of regular fries. I enjoyed the burger and the sweet potato fries, but the regular fries were not good, they were kind of soft and soggy with no crisp to them. The sweet potato fries tasted seasoned and had a crunch, which I really enjoyed. Unfortunately you can’t get sweet potato fries as part of a meal and they are $ 4.95 a portion. I felt it was quite expensive. $ 22 for 2 burgers, 2 fries &1 can of coke, when it is fast food.

So I just tried the Southwest veggie burger, and as far as veggie burgers go, it was pretty average. Not bad though, so I guess that should be mentioned too. The fries were comparable to fries from Five Guys and the delivery was pretty quick. I personally wouldn’t go out of my way to have Petey’s Burger again but it’s not a bad option if you’re in the area.

In the mid of the blizzard they delivered us awesome burgers! This little corner ok Vernon blvd takes you back in time and offers a little burger joint atmosphere from back in the day where you could order burger, fries and a milkshake for affordable price. The tastes are great! The sweet potato fries were to the point and tasty the onion rings were crunchy and not greasy and the burgers were awesome! The fact that they also deliver after the storm earned them another point in the Melman scale and overall 8⁄10! Keep on the good work

Tried a cheeseburger and fries with soda here(just under $ 10). The patty is a bit thin(about the same size as the ones at Wendy’s). However, the bun, and the lettuce, tomatoes and pickles are all thicker than normal, which gives the impression it is bigger than it is. Don’t be fooled though — there is not much meat in these burgers. The patty was pretty flavorful though and the burger had this nice salad dressing type sauce in it. The best part of the meal were the fries. They have thin cut fries that are similar in size to McDonald’s fries, but they are actually hand cut with the potato skins still on them. Their fries are very crispy and they give you a huge portion(there is only one size offered). Overall, an okay burger place, but that’s it.

Let’s forget about the part where Petey’s is supposed to just be a ripoff of In-N-Out. Let’s just focus on the part where you can get a really well made burger and fries(LOTS of fries, with the skins left on for maximum flavor) and a soda for just under $ 10. The patties are thin and therefore only cooked one way. The double burger is excessive, stick with the normal cheeseburger. And, you can add grilled onions for free, just ask. A combo at McDonalds pushes $ 7 – 8 these days. To replace it all with real ingredients, and the fountain soda with a can, for $ 2 more? Any day of the week.
